Even amidst all the flattering styles at Truth, this week's new "Dulce" style is a total knockout, featuring these twisted, tucked-up side pieces that practically scream for accessorizing (I couldn't resist these new bloom-styled ones by Miamai, slipped into the crown on either side). A romantic, scoop-necked, pearl-buttoned dress by Teefy, this new demure petal-lipped "Alice" skin by Glam Affair (another Shiny Shabby find) + some oversized gem jewelry got me all ready for a trip to the Faerie lands (yours truly has been finishing the last installment of The Mortal Instruments, hehe).

What happens when 2 girlfriends decide to ditch work & partake of some afternoon cocktails instead? Why, some unintentional disco naps, o' course.

With all the cute inflatables flooding the grid right now, I had to show you at least a few: these floating "stuffed" animals are Miamai's whimsical gatcha prizes at The Arcade (awwws the pink pawpads!) & you can find the inflatable furniture pieces shown below at Collabor88 by Pilot. -- Btw this was Dream + I opting for some nutritious snacks post-afternoon hangover, hehe.
And here's a better view of my casual ensemble today, which features SLexy's own Cate Ying's new label VinCue's offerings for Collabor88, i.e., happy prints + candy colors, a combo that's always of prime interest for moi. -- Plus how scrumptious is this hair by Truth? Porcelain.

Just playing around today with light filters in Photoshop, with some pretty new things like these adorables shortie ponys by Wasabi Pills + some stunning new liquidy, toffee-colored eyes by Esuga. Some free fur pieces (many thanks to mah girl Portia Cuthbertsson for the tip!) + the gorge "Roza" skin by Glam Affair reminded me that winter is peeking at us, just right around the corner.

This week's other new Truth style, this long, flowy "Uma" style (loving the new 2-tone color pack!) went perfectly with this ghostly pale, porcelain-hued skin by Glam Affair. A splash of blue in the eyes, rosy pink cheeks + some frosty air suited my birthday suit look today, hehe.

Some Beautiful Things From Some Beautiful People.

My friends over at Redgrave sent the most beautiful things my way this week, like this absolutely divine new "Zuri" skin. In a world obsessed with the teeny tiny nose, I love how this skin embraces a realer vision of beauty. Siren red lips, sultry makeup + a speckling of frex make this skin supersmex. I'm also showing the free G Field floral halter that everyone + their mother has already blogged + for good reason: this top is sooo feminine. This pic also shows why it pays to stay in the Hair Solutions subscribo: this free "Olivia" gift given out earlier this week is seriously sensual; the way it moves is just the lushness. -- Subscribo. Speaking of hair, a certain Mr. Truth Hawks was determined to drive me crazy this week. After I publicly bitched that he + his fabby hairstyles were sucking out all my $L, the man goes + drops his 3 latest styles this week on me. -- You are a very naughty man, Truth Hawks. *mwuahs Truth Hawks*
This new "Marnie" Truth hairstyle, featuring these dyed feathered pieces that prettily frame the face, inspired this bad-girl after hours look, which is really all about hair + the accessories. The spectacular zebra tights I'm wearing are free by Sheer + my long elbow gloves, complete with a disco-y silver shimmery texture, came to me free via the SD Wears MM board. My free waist-scrunched tank top is the latest Miamai subscribo gift (there's um, an interesting saying on the back) + I'm also showing the white anklet socks version of those crazy Pixel Mode "Baby Ts" stilettos that I'm in love with.
Speaking of shoes, the Redgrave folks have been busy. Creator Viola Leigh just debuted these "Madonna" ankle boots this week + they are so sweet. Check out this lush "Nacre" color (I must say that as a RL jewelry designer, I so totally died for this color name -- "nacre" is the name of the natural oyster essence + shimmery coating which renders pearls luminescent). This double zipper detail trailing thruout this shoe makes me want these in RL. *mwuahs Viola Leigh*
The dress I'm showing with these shoes is the latest free MNK*Shop group gift, which is really worth a scoop: this sheer, summery ruffle dress, i.e. girlish style executed to perfection. I'm also showing a fri.day hair (one of many I scooped recently) which has been jam-packed due to the crazy sale they are having there (the hairs I saw were $75L each). The entire freaking store is on sale, so every fashionista + their mother has been trying to get in. Erm, good luck. Heh.

Circus Sideshow

"Circus" by Britney Spears has been running thru my head, so when the new Le Cirque designer event kicked off yesterday, it was kinda like fashion + music sync-a-palooza.
This fluttery new "ruffle" dress by Miamai, combined with the new skin by Atomic Bambi, felt so totally right for my circus performer mood.
Tightropes are a tricky business. Especially in these lovely Kookie platform wedges. Hee.
These swings are such a great cardio workout.

Sometimes you just gotta break from the frugalista mode + indulge. Check out this smexeh new party dress by Miamai, a 'natch with the new "Robin" shoes by Stiletto Moody.
The simplicity of this asymmetrical 1-shoulder dress really lets singular details like the silver tubing pop thru on this look.
