What happens when 2 girlfriends decide to ditch work & partake of some afternoon cocktails instead? Why, some unintentional disco naps, o' course.

With all the cute inflatables flooding the grid right now, I had to show you at least a few: these floating "stuffed" animals are Miamai's whimsical gatcha prizes at The Arcade (awwws the pink pawpads!) & you can find the inflatable furniture pieces shown below at Collabor88 by Pilot. -- Btw this was Dream + I opting for some nutritious snacks post-afternoon hangover, hehe.
And here's a better view of my casual ensemble today, which features SLexy's own Cate Ying's new label VinCue's offerings for Collabor88, i.e., happy prints + candy colors, a combo that's always of prime interest for moi. -- Plus how scrumptious is this hair by Truth? These soft waves draped delicately over the shoulder basically scream "wavy beach hair." Some wraparound shades, pink headphones + a music tat were all I needed to complete this no-fuss beachy look.

My Name Is Trouble.

No theme per se for today's post, just some quick pix to show y'all the tres doux, va-va-voom feminine hair by D!va that you can scoopie at Collabor88, which I coupled with a better look at the fabby "Margot" Glam Affair skin that I've been going on about (also courtesy of Collabor88) + these new deep, rich, perfectly shaded "Tome" eyes by Ikon, which might just be my fave brown eyes of all time.

*Btw today's post title comes from an acoustic singer who somehow manages to rock an utterly too fierce bowl cut (!) in her lovely synth-pop-folk ditty that graced 1 of my fave cable shows last nite (you can hear this super catchy track -- and see this crazy hair -- in the snippet below). This wispy-strands, ice-cream cone swirled updo that's brand-new by Diva at Collabor88 is a standout amongst soft yet dramatic 'dos. I styled this look-at-me hair with a retro-bodiced dress by Indyra Originals (luhs this mysteriously deep velvet blue); a '50s red lipstick skin of my new fave "Amberly" skin by Glam Affair added a bright color pop + makeup finesse to this vintage-styled look.

The Endless Summer.

O hullo all. *sneaks into the room guiltily* I've been off enjoying RL for a bit, hitting some truly glam spots (snorkeling + munching sushi in Hawaii) + other not-so-glam spots (3 days at Disneyland with the nieces, aka the physical exhaustion equivalent of a triathalon -- but with water rides). Coco has set out some lovely new free ripped white leggings, which inspired some angel stylin' with my fave Glow Studio wings.

Desert Sky

Weekend sales have become so crazy on the grid that it's no longer "if" anything is on sale, it's "which" stores are on sale. Amidst all the bounty this weekend, I wanted to highlight Zaara's 50% off storewide sale that's already thoroughly made the blog rounds, but is truly worth mentioning again for any last-minute stragglers (normally, moi) before it ends tomorrow (on Sunday 6/13/10).
Zaara's highly detailed pieces are normally out of frugalista range -- just 1 reason why their jewelry + clothing are a total must-grab at slashed prices. These beautifully finished pieces totally channel an airy, relaxed glam that make me the teeniest bit homesick for my inner Desert Girl.
I also must give a huge *mwuahs* to my girl Jasmine Pixelmaid for insisting that I get these "Mitya" Zaara shorts. ZOMG do I love these things (you were so right gf!) The little drawstring ties on the sides add the most scrumptious detail too. I found the fatpack to be very necessary in life. Heh.

I'm also showing an incredibly detailed belt which you can grab for free at the Muu Workshop lucky boards. The metal round loop detailing is really superb + it even includes a little "open belted" area to hold ciggies. -- I find that belts are somewhat hard to find really well finished, + I must say that this leather one ranks among my all-time faves (love the dangling keys too).
