Native Spring.

Creator Aikea Rieko of The Plastik is debuting some beautiful strapless dresses for Spring, framing an hourglass figure with her trademark detailed prints and naughty corset-like ribbons, wrapped around the torso for a li'l extra feminine waist-cinching.
Aikea is more typically known for her combination of rich, dark palettes and fantasy touches; however as this image shows, Aikea proves just as agile at whipping up fresh, vibrant colors that are perfect for Springtime glam. I thought this dress worked so nicely with this new side braided, double-cord headband "Elyse" style by Truth; some triple-tone feathers earrings, a wrapped leather-corded gem necklace + some pastel-toned colorblocked bangles completed this new Native look.

Taking the Plunge.

It seems that some of us are too scared to take the plunge, even in poolside waters.
These latest cap hairs by Truth are perfect for adding a touch o' no-fuss casual summer style (how fitting would these be for summer with some denim cutoffs + your fave tank)? I'm showing the shorter one (which is actually a men's style) above together with a pretty free striped dress by OrsiniRed (yet another talented blogger's inworld imprint) + some other fun freebies that are yours for the taking, courtesy of the ongoing plethora of current hunts.

I also had to show you my newest absolute fave dark eye, this beguiling "Darkstar" shade in Ikon's latest "Ascension" line. -- Mysteriously ombre + rich in color (despite the dark hue; something that's quite rare in dark eyes) with hints of indigo, and full of realistic shine, I loved wearing this eye against a tomato-red lipstick + thick lashes.

Springtime Romance.

A few shots today showing a new non-New Joisey white metal-studded look by Ricielli, which I paired with this utterly retro glam, sideswept swirled updo by Truth that's the very definition of Springtime romance, 'specially with these cascading curls tumbling delicately onto the shoulder (btw did anyone else see the feature on The New York Times about how retro bridal is in now? I sooo want those Great Gatsby wedding gowns as RL party dresses!) + the latest "Ardent" eyes release by IKON, which simply glow with their usual luminous realism (I particularly loved the steely gray-blue "Platinum," the new must-have blue "Skyfall" hue + the golden tawny "Parchment" shades shown here).

Even when throwing together casual separates, keeping your look within silvery blue tones (even framed with a touch of inky black) can keep it elegant + chic.
These sophisticated silvery & blue separates are brand-new by Baiastice, which I dressed up with some sterling silver jewelry + the latest "Lucid" (love that name) eye line by Ikon (I'm wearing the icy pale blue "Optimism" hue, which is currently free for the VIP group). A dramatically sideswept hair by Truth added some flair to this relaxed look (luhs how striking this hair looks when set off by these grape-dipped candy tips!)

Primary colors are such a sprightly way to cheer up winter.

The Sheep Door lucky board yielded this free Crayola-hued coat, shirt + tie set; I couldn't decide which free bag worked best, so I'm showing you 2 new ones that I scoopied this week, including this white-trimmed, white-puppied red leather bowling bag on Marketplace. The whimsical reverse cow-udder hat, rhinestone cross-studded platform boots + electric blue nails will set you back all of $0L; and this ruby-lipped skin is the latest Belleza (paid group) gift, lending an innocent, fresh-faced beauty to your (hopefully naughty) holidays.
Ice cream floats + a paper snail? As if Add9 creator Canue Glazner could conjure any more useless, uber-cute stuff that we (of course) must have! Free as well, at the crammed with tchotchkes, photog-worthy Cafe Cherbourg.
