The Glam-Pire Diaries, Vol. 2: Top Vampire Chef

Tay Wycliffe here, Tesh's vampire cousin. Tesh went on yet another of her shopping sprees *rolls eyes* so she asked me to take over for another post.

Luckily I've just been accepted as a contestant on the vampire world's newest TV sensation, Top Vampire Chef. Basically, a bunch of us ambitious foodie vamps compete each week to prove who's got bloody culinary game.
My main rival is a pesky know-it-all, Gary McGinnis. -- That Gary thinks he's such a much. He makes these avant-garde things like blood mousse and blood sorbet. -- Puh-leeeze! If we vamps wanted that frou-frou nonsense we'd all be drinking dandelion wine instead.

The other contestant is a talented girl who I really like, DreamBloodAngel Larnia (altho' the network, Vampire Television or VTV, tried to make us girls catfight with each other like, all the time. They gave that up after I scary hissed at them).

I should also probably mention that our famous TV show host, Tom Co-Leechy-Yo, is somewhat biased against me ever since I observed that his shiny, dome-like appearance strongly resembles that human hygiene icon, Mr. Clean. Some immortals are so sensitive! Sheesh.

Now to the kitchen, where things are really cookin':

Tom Co-Leechy-Yo: "Listen up contestants. This week, your Quickfire Challenge is to create that trickiest of vampire delicacies: a blood pudding. You have 30 minutes. Go!"
Gary: "I'm doing an avant-garde take on the traditional blood pudding, Tom, which we all know is really just a fried blood clot. Instead I'm making a frothy blood mousse, served in a delicate brain membrane. I'm pretty confident about this Quickfire Challenge, Tom."

Tom walks over to me with a slightly hostile look on this face and snaps, "And you? What are you making?"
"I'm sous-vide-ing some rich, chunky veins for my blood pudding, Tom," I say smugly. "I just know the nice contrasting textures will totally impress the judges."

But what's this? Tom is no longer listening 'cuz he's busy asking DreamBloodAngel out on a date! Heeeey wait a minute, is that even allowed?
The next thing I know, Tom is announcing:

"DreamBloodAngel Larnia -- you are Top Vampire Chef!"

The TV studio erupts into utter chaos! Dream screams with delight. The entire audience is whooping and cheering. Gary looks like he's ready to throw frothy blood mousse at both Dream and Tom. But I can't pay any attention anymore 'cuz I get totally distracted by a juicy noob human who's somehow made his way into the audience. Forget all these cooks in the kitchen -- it's dinnertime!

Taste the Rainbow

I lost my way doing some early trick-or-treat-ing today. Luckily my new free My Little Pony friend helped guide me thru these woods. I named him Skittles 'cuz I thought his rainbow-striped mane was tres handsome.
I wanted to show you some of the other fun rainbow accessories I've scooped lately. I found this cutie-patootie double-panda charm necklace (2 pandas hugging each other! Hugged To Death

Kiki The Clown knew she only had moments to win over Death. She had heard he was in a grim mood + was only too aware of the devastating havoc Death could wreak on mankind if his foul temper got the better of him. She even put on her special "Space Invaders" necklace + her most fetching pumpkin bag to help.
"Hugs," she thought suddenly. "Nobody can resist a hug!"

Death soon came ambling around the corner.
Death was sooo over those freaking disrespectful humans, especially around Halloween. -- People dressing up + impersonating him? The whole giant scythe as accessory thing? And all for some stupid candy? Please!

He was just about to curse humanity into oblivion once and for all when he heard a girlish voice call out to him.

"Oh Deathie-Poo, gimme a hug!" cried Kiki.

"What's all this?" thought Death. "I'm Death, for Chrissakes! I don't "do" hugs!"
Still, Death allowed the colorful girl to hug him. She felt warm and cuddly. He noticed that she smelled nice too.

"Hey, this feels good," thought Death.
Kiki giggled. Death didn't seem like the terrifying evil demon that everybody said he was. Plus she was definitely gonna have to look into the whole saving the world thing as a new career move. All that clown stuff was getting to be a snooze anyway.

Watercolor

The free fur purse + free fur jacket gifts at Wave inspired this modern-day vintage styling, which to me recalled a muted watercolor painting with just a few splashes of color. A free "Something Old" necklace by Ganked added a chunky silver touch; a free tie-dyed tank by Fashionably Dead kept this look from being too pretty.

Hello SLexy readers. Today I have yet another homage to my long-standing wuv affair with the almighty feather. Check out this plush, rust-toned feather "collar" on a naughty lace-up dress by Deviant Girls, which btw was priced at a very reasonable $150L.
A dramatically short bob hair by Hair Oh + these spectacular "bloom" ankle booties by Glow Studio completed this look.

In other news, I'm living for this light tan Tres Blah skin. Living.
And now my inspiration for this look: these utterly fabby free bird's "nest" coat hanger earrings.
The deets are tres fierce here: check out the mini Robin's eggs + mossy grass touches inside. I must say that I'm tickled by the earring "hook" + entire bird's "nest," made entirely of miniature coat hangers (!) Fashion Week has started in my hometown, which means an overflow of fashion finds. In that vein, I wanted to show you some fabby things utterly unrelated to each other, like these free graphic-print leggings by Magnifico Exclusive.

In other news, mah girl Indyra Seigo passed me this luscious new cherry red, woven tote bag (major "basket weave" texture. Major) + platform sandals that I've been dying to show. *mwuahs Indyra Seigo* -- This look was perfect for, say, prowling around Tokyo back alleys whilst seeking an izakaya for the munchies. Maybe my outfit will convince them to stay open late.
A free naughty denim jumpsuit by Jinkies that's been all over the feeds, some new furry Shampooo ankle boots + this new double pony "Lila Streaked" Truth hair finished this "le nottie tummie" casual look.
