That Li'l Somethin' Extra

My fave hairstyles new by Truth this week each offer that li'l somethin' extra that we details fiends go nuts for. Check out this tiara-adorned "Jersey" style, perfect for dusting off those Prom Queen fantasies/memories/nightmares.
The contrary girl in me went supercasual with this done-up 'do, with a free ripped sweatshirt dress by Kyoko Couture + a free Tokidoki watermelon purse for a that extra juicy touch.
This new "Orchid" updo showcases the trademark Truth teeny-tiny streaks + 2 plump orchid blooms placed just so in the hair. -- All ye ballroom gown kinda gals, /me suspects this one's like, your. hair.

The most spectacular Truth style this week has gotta be the "Raquel," where that li'l somethin' (s)extra is this wild, tangled mass of wavy, bouncy curls. It's like bedhead for bad gals: you just wanna make purring noises whilst wearing this thing. Meeeooow.

Hairy Times at Dernier Cri

Creator Asuka Martin is debuting several new styles at the Hair Fair 2010 this year, which kicks off tomorrow (September 4th) and benefits Wigs for Kids. Here's a sneak peek of my faves, which will be exclusively available at Dernier Cri @ Hair Fair 2 (and at the Dernier Cri store once the fair ends).
This new "Dove" style is long, tousled + the very embodiment of bedroom smex. -- Sorry about the sheets, the maid ran out on me whilst I was rockin' a li'l pose in this new free sheer bodysuit by Coco. Some people are so easily embarrassed. I mean really.
One thing I love about the Dernier Cri styles is the au naturel way that feathery pieces "fall" into the face, like in this new midlength "Saddie" style. (The browns + blacks are particularly nice in this line; you get really rich, deep hues, baked with tons of soft highlights, so they're never too dark).
For all us frugalistas, Asuka has generously set out this sultry "Camelia" style for free, in all colors. I'm also showing a pretty pink babydoll dress that's free by Izzie's + some new bejeweled skull jewelry by Donna Flora, which I find totally colorful and fun. *mwuahs Squinternet Larnia*

When Maitreya creator Onyx LeShelle generously sent her new, lushly floral "Hana" stilettos my way, I was inspired to slip on some free leopard lingerie + a tawny hair, and hit the tropical shores for some sunny rays. *mwuahs Onyx LeShelle*
These heels are blossoming with lovely fashionista details: dark-rimmed flower edges, meticulous gradient shading on each small petal, thin double straps, etc. Plus in my opinion, one of the grid's best skin matching HUDs (take it from this HUD-challenged shopper). Floral fabby-luhs.

So I decided to send my avi back to school 'cuz it's that time of year and 'cuz . . . I had just won this free schoolgirl outfit that I spied on Lucky Kitty Crew. Heh.

I usually make a point to avoid huge glasses that take up half my face, so I wasn't in the finest mood that these were required for class (something about dangerous chemicals, blah blah blah). I was halfway to another sulk until I realized that the patch on this lab coat was actually pretty cool.

Wow, our science experiment worked! I really didn't think I'd get my styrofoam planets to levitate + zoom around me like that. The deep and profound mysteries of science!

Hi From Pretzel Face

I was in a nom noms mood today, so I skipped over to my fave foodie treats gatcha that's free once daily at Kue. Check out this free giant iced mocha drink "seat" that I won; luckily, nobody at Cafe Gamma seemed to notice a girl dangling off a giant straw. Hee.
While I was at Kue, these salty pretzels proved just too irresistible. For $150L you get a tray loaded up with yummie pretzels (others can nab one too by clicking on it) + for the clumsier of us, there's the handy-dandy option of wearing said tray on the head.
And on a totally unrelated note, here's a li'l find for tha menz: these ridic textured, dirty brown leather boots by Hoorenbeek that are currently free via the Zombie Popcorn Hunt. (We ladies can wear 'em too, although on me at least, even the "XXS" size was a tad oversized).
