Since I am a permanent sucker for anything tasty inworld, I couldn't let this week pass without showing you this free scrumptious lemon whipped cream cake & mini-tub of lemon San Pellegrinos (it's even a dispenser!) that are yours for the taking by Apple Fall. And since creator Amberly Boccaccio has been killin' it with all her tasty noms for Glam Affair's home decor line, I just had to show you these taro bear coffee roll cakes (the li'l ears! the cream noses!) + her panda panna cottas, which would instantly kawaii up anyone's home living situation.

Cuddly Comforts.

The latest round of home decor items from Apple Fall at The Arcade feel a bit personal to me, as they are named after the particular 'hood in London (Mayfair) where I briefly sojourned (many moons ago). Think white marble floors & black wooden fireplaces; crown moldings and cool white tile; all paired with pewter-toned clocks, lamps and frames -- all of which feel just as aesthetically crisp & haute as I remember that picture-perfect area in my memories.

Lunar Landing.

The beloved readers of this blog already know that I rarely do white hair, but hey, you gotta figure all that zero-gravity stuff is simply murder on one's natural organic hair color treatments. Hehe.
My lunar landing today was inspired by this month's "Supernova" theme at Collabor88: and what an intergalatic ensemble it is, from naughty space-age dresses (like this plastic-strapped one by Faenzo that I'm wearing here) to oversized gems + industrial metal tones in accessories. -- Plus again with the hair, this new "Tyr" style's pinup-girl flyaway extensions -- oh-so-gently curling about the face -- are so so smex, no? I thought color streaks were such a must with this style; luckily there's many pretty choices (along with roots options) in the Truth HUD. -- Btw these astro-piggies were such sweet moon buddies; they promised to catch me my very own star too, just as soon as my rocket went off.

A Modern Vintage.

Vintage Fair 2012 is upon us + like last year, this event's concept of "vintage" spans not only what we traditionally think of as retro eras (the "Flapper Girl" styles of the Roaring '20s; the Art Deco geometric patterns, etc.) but also the casual, stylistically wacky looks of the '80s (legwarmers alert)! I also like how the sprawling 3-SIM build itself -- complete with cobblestone streets and uptown storefronts -- is tailored into an elegant place to shop for fresh, timeless ways to doll up your avi.
This gently scalloped, fluttery hemmed, knee-length dress embodies the feminine lines of classic "vintage" style, which I loved in this rich chocolate brown silk ('specially set off by cherry red lips). Dotted caramel sheer tights & a cream-colored, chain-strapped mini-purse by MS (a new designer for me), plus this week's new "Milly" long mesh style by Truth (the twin bobbypins add such a demure touch to this bangless style) finished this retro glam look.

Pale Lips Sink Ships.

Some looks for you today that I shot last weekend (due to @#$!% RL have not been able to post until today), showing some lovely things from the new Collabor88 + the One Voice shopping event. Amongst my faves: these black leather shorts (!) by Tokodoki, these fabby thick-striped (the fat stripes are key) new stilettos by N-Core; this gorges nude keyhole minidress by Kyoot (which I loved with this edgy feathered "ear cuff" by Magic Nook); a sweet red cherries drawstring dress (on pink, yay!) dressed up with layers of strung necklaces; plus check out this sweet floral print dress by Baiastice, which is so flirty + perfect for hot days. Ahhh, summer!
Btw all of these feature new-ish skins with pale lip tones, which I think is tres appropro for summer. I'm particularly liking this nude-lipped redo of the "Elena" Laq skin at One Voice, featuring lush, full lips + a wide-eyed innocence in the face.
