Summer Breeze.

Creator fever has apparently caught fire across the grid since there's been a veritable explosion of new releases in the last week. I'm showing you some cherry picks here: check out this dramatically long, "fat" herringbone motif skirt by Baiastice, which paired smartly with this simple yet classic cropped v-neck, bone-colored sweater (luhs the capped sleeves too); creator Moca Loup's long-awaited new release for her exquisite Tram brand (there's been so many "jumper"-type pieces surfacing recently for warmer weather, but this belted faded denim version is 1 of the cutest I've seen yet); and finally, some bright separates by Gloxx (pink + orange is such a luscious color combo; my fave Maitreya flip-flops were a 'natch for this beachy mood). The newest Glam Affair skin release for CHIC2, some fun new accessories by Izzie's (don't miss the free panda necklace!) + long charm necklaces Magic Nook, plus a new shortie auburn hair by Wasabi Pills rounded out these breezy summer looks.

Happy (Sheer Nottie) Halloween!

There's a free deliciously floaty long dress up for grabs at the lush Deviant Girls waterland build (where I took this shot below), featuring some sheer nottieness happening in the rear parts.

Runway Ready

There's this li'l thing called Modavia Fashion Week that you might've heard of happening at the mo'. Since I've been utterly unable to attend any of the shows so far, I figured at the very least, I should show you some new things from 1 of my fave designers, Maylee Oh of The Secret Store, whose new designs hit the runway today. Fans of this brand will not be disappointed: this new collection joyfully emulates Maylee's signature style of mixing bold prints, clean silhouettes + soft, retro-mod feminine moods.
My fave piece from Maylee's new collection has gotta be this scrumptiously textured, cable knit bodysuit: so so smex + furry-warm for those coming colder months. -- To me, there's something tres whimsical about using a heavy fabric for something as skimpy as a bodysuit; I'm always tickled by fashionista plays like that.

Meet Rocky!

I decided to take my Alaskan Husky puppy Rocky out for a walk today. He likes warehouses, which was perfect 'cuz his doggie tote is stuffed full of bones + treats + such for playing.
Rocky is part of creator Jon Haskell's brand-new line of Alaskan Husky dogs + as a special gift for Style Academy, Jon has agreed to gift his puppy tote bag for $1L for a limited time! Fluttered 'N Feathered

In fashion, as in life, I'll occasionally see something relatively simple that's executed exceptionally well. Such is the case for this oh-so-fluttery, aptly named "Swan Dress": from its softly fluted hemline to its peek-a-boo nottie length, this thing emanates girlie spring clean softness.
The avian-ish name of this piece inspired me to play with these free feathers + $25L triple-feathered hoops, both courtesy of The Fashion Garret.
A gem-encrusted enamel purse, a luxurious gold & pearl bead choker + a simple ponytail hair were the only finishing touches needed for this clean look.

Creator Gala Phoenix's new "Sweetheart" skin has arrived 'specially for V-Day, featuring whisper-soft blushes + that innocent-yet-superpouty face that Curio is known for (these might just be my. fave. lips. of. all. time).
