&Count is offering a free chocolate brown color of their whimsical heart-heeled pumps via lucky board, which I thought called for a playful, dressed-down look. Some superfabby $30L checkered long fingerless gloves, a free bowtied tulle skirt + this $30L mini-hearts skullie cap paired nicely with the new long, flowey "Billie Jo" hair by Truth. -- I'm not sure why this bird kept watching me, but I used my fashionista powers of concentration to focus on posing.

Feelin' Fawny

I was enjoying the quality TV programming at the gym when I happened to observe a well-known fashion icon pronouncing that no one should "ever" wear brown. This type of sweeping generalization raised my eyebrows for a mo': surely this designer himself has worn/sold/created in this offensive color at some point? Needless to say, I heartily disagree -- in any life.

I built my look today around soft fawn + chocolate brown hues (with a splash of teal), some vintage accessories + the free sweater by Tyranny that's already made the blog rounds. *prances around like a fawn*
I love this new shoulder-length "Kitty" 'do by Truth for this look: this soft style feels tres romantic to me, with subtle streaks peeking out just beneath these big, bouncy waves. *mwuahs Truth Hawks*

Hugged To Death

Kiki The Clown knew she only had moments to win over Death. She had heard he was in a grim mood + was only too aware of the devastating havoc Death could wreak on mankind if his foul temper got the better of him. She even put on her special "Space Invaders" necklace + her most fetching pumpkin bag to help.
"Hugs," she thought suddenly. "Nobody can resist a hug!"

Death soon came ambling around the corner.
Death was sooo over those freaking disrespectful humans, especially around Halloween. -- People dressing up + impersonating him? The whole giant scythe as accessory thing? And all for some stupid candy? Please!

He was just about to curse humanity into oblivion once and for all when he heard a girlish voice call out to him.

"Oh Deathie-Poo, gimme a hug!" cried Kiki.

"What's all this?" thought Death. "I'm Death, for Chrissakes! I don't "do" hugs!"
Still, Death allowed the colorful girl to hug him. She felt warm and cuddly. He noticed that she smelled nice too.

"Hey, this feels good," thought Death.
Kiki giggled. Death didn't seem like the terrifying evil demon that everybody said he was. Plus she was definitely gonna have to look into the whole saving the world thing as a new career move. All that clown stuff was getting to be a snooze anyway.

There's an adorable new "Sunkissed" skin fair at Harajukubox, where you can find limited edition skins + see giant pieces of citrus floating casually in the sea. -- I scooped this new makeup of Pink Fuel's "Ember" skin (featuring white eyeshadow+ pink eye stickers) that inspired this prettie take on a Harajuku Girl look.
