Happy (Sheer Nottie) Halloween!

There's a free deliciously floaty long dress up for grabs at the lush Deviant Girls waterland build (where I took this shot below), featuring some sheer nottieness happening in the rear parts.
Speaking of sheer nottieness, you can also scoopie a tres nottie baby doll lingerie set for free at the neighboring Chocolate Atelier store (you get 2 luscious raspberry + strawberry sherbet-y shades), that I paired with some runway-high platforms by the Haut Monde store (a new brand to watch out for by former Republic creator Teresa Republic).
Finally, since it's Halloween, and since I've been feeling a bit yawn with my pix lately, I've started experimenting with the occasional nottie one. Who Wants A Gentleman?

The Collabor88 discount shopping event is turning out to be a great place for some quality hair shopping. Yesterday I showed you the lovely messy low pony style by Truth; today I'm wearing a half-up, bobbypinned style by Elikatira that I found so soft + romantic. -- Btw the whole Gentlemen Prefer Blondes thing? Totally untrue. Lol.
This sky-colored, retro belted number is a $10L gift by Indie Rose on the upcoming Platinum Hunt that I mentioned yesterday; the headband is actually a $10L LaGyo necklace gift for the same hunt that I liked better as a headband (these chunky beads feel very "now" in the hair). Summer Flutter

Check out this soon-to-be-released "Flutter" face that Lelutka creator Minnu Palen is debuting later this week, which I thought was a 'natch with this week's new wavy "Claudia" hair by Truth (yay for unkempt tresses).
This is a more "mature" face than I typically wear, but I'm rather enjoying this aquiline nose + smaller mouth -- a sophisticated combo that conveys a certain quiet aloofness, i.e., perfect for haute-ing up those Yes Me, I'm Fashionista moods.
I'm also showing Maitreya creator Onyx LeShelle's latest "YaXkin" sandals that have been plowing the feeds (much more Maitreya newness to come in upcoming posts). -- Doesn't this flat strappy style practically scream for a long skirt? I noticed this one by u.f.o. for its distinctive print on somebody's Flickr; it's super fluttery + I like the teeny tiny pleats too.

Last Night A DJ Saved My Life . . .

Ever since Magic Nook creator Ayumi Cassini sent her freakin' fantastico DJ earrings my way, I've styled about 10 looks with 'em, never quite satisfied with the result. Here's a couple images that I finally chose to edit, the 1st featuring creator Fae Eriksen's brand-new glitter-strewn, 1-shoulder sweater for Fishy Strawberry (you even get these delicate lace corsages for both chest + hair included, yay!) + some delectable prim foodstuffs, all of which I snagged for free at Poche (absolutely no idea why so many of these beautiful treats are set to $0L; I also can't remember which location had what for free, so foodies might wanna check creator Miyu Adder's profile to hit up her other location to ensure getting all her yummies available).
Since I've been known to get behind the wheels o' steel from time to time, I couldn't resist another look with these earrings, this time featuring a texture-change bag from Kari that I just adore + the current Shag $75L "minibangs" sale hair for Project Themeory (this is being left out for the weekend since it was late being set out - thanks Seb + Dai!)
And in posestuffs news, the latest buzz is that Xanadu Capelo (formerly of Xbordeaux) has opened a new pose store together with creator Lollipop Briggs called Madeleine. There's 2 gift poses for free if you click the boxes on the front desk (+ more of Xana's older clothing in the 2 little figurines in the cubbyholes). -- I really love how these girls have created poses that are girlie in mood, yet also imminently wearable for showing off clothes; just 1 reason why Xana's pose work is so known + respected. On Frozen Icees & Piggishness

Maitreya creator Onyx LeShelle has recently released her summer line, including new shirt + pants separates and this elegant 1-shoulder ruffle dress that's perfect for relaxed summertime fete-ing. Or, say, free animal-shaped breads. *mwuahs Onyx LeShelle*
Shopperistas will appreciate the single prim, scripted aspect of these pieces: for example, fatpackers receive 1 shoulder ruffle that changes color via a menu (instead of a zillion copies of the same item). -- This is such a welcome relief for anyone desperately trying to cut inventory clutter (ahem); not to mention getting tons o' mix 'n match options (which I took advantage of here).
Here's a better look at Onyx's scrumptious new triple-buckle, thin-strapped "Allegre" platform heels, where you can really see Onyx's ability to execute tricky, subtle pastels in beautifully realistic RL leather textures. Yums.

OK so . . . lots o' hair happenings this weekend, including the long-awaited unveiling of creator Truth Hawks' brand-new fashionista playground, Truth District. Summer Showers

There's a rainy day courtyard mini-festival now at itutu, where you can grab some free hygrangeas in various colors. These were so deliciously poofy I just had to slip 'em on as a skirt; some free grape heels by R2 added paintbox color to this look. My new friend Yua Cale reminded me about the IS Design store, where I remembered these fine green rubber duckys from their $30L gatcha.
It's rare for me to find well-made clothes in rich, vibrant greens in RL, so I was excited for this kelly green wrinkled chiffon number by Acid & Mala. I'm also showing the new freaking adorables "Astrid" messy updo by Truth (another supergirlie style that begs for a fresh-faced skin) + a free umbrella stand gift by Y's House, featuring this crouched "mopping up" animation (I was slightly miffed here 'cuz wiping up Gavin's wet stains made me late for Dancing With the Stars -- again!) -- I'm sure he'll find a way to make it up to me. Hehe.

It's Burrito!

Hi there Sweetpies!! Steffy here and no this isn't some glitch, I am for real blogging @ Slexy Fashionista !! I was super excited and almost fangirling when Teshan asked me to make a post here. As maybe many of you this was one of the first SL fashion blogs I met and I still amazed with the sweetness and great items that still be posted here!!

Hotel de Glace

Esuga creator Eilfie Sugarplum just passed me her newest skins, eyes & makeups + as per usual, Eilfie's sense of playfulness really emerges thru her work. Check her pouty teeth + "Persian Cat" eyes, which I thought were so unusual + fun. *mwuahs Eilfie Sugarplum*
I met up with my penguin friends while visiting the famed Hotel de Glace (ice hotel) that's built (+ melted) once a year. These li'l flipper dudes are $30L at D-Lab; my fave was this animated backpack guy (who I named Chippie), who actually swivels his head + waves his flippers around nervously. -- I think Chippie was worried about everything melting. There, there Chippie. *pats Chippie on the head + wiggles his flipper*
