A moonlight stroll with my new free sheep friend Woolimina convinced me to throw together a new tattoo, this time for the feets.

These shiny patent leather "Rivea" pumps by Mstyle added a bright touch of daytime sky color to my nighttime stroll.

Cherry Treats

Jule's yummie post below inspired me to put together this cherry look for today, featuring a free lace-trimmed dress by Honey Soul + a tasty free Easter choco treat by Kue. Some chatty free Myna birds had plenty to say about this look (i.e., that I didn't have any treats for them, too). Awwws.

Caramel

The big frugalista news last night was that Dark Mouse creator Mouse Mimistrobell decided to set 5 items down in her store to $0L for 24 hours. I got the notice yesterday evening (EST time), so you still have time to grab her fabby accessories today for free (the neighboring Miao store also has 5 nice items set to $0L; I'm wearing a mix of both here).
I built this apple-'n-pumpkin striped look around these free caramels (1 of my fave RL candies) that I nabbed at a cute "pumpkin patch" hunt (see the Styling Credits for deets). A new free striped jacket by Wave, a free geometric print body tat by Para + some more 2-toned new Truth hair finished this auburn-toned look.

A word about these nails: I've been on a hunt for shortie nails (since the prim ones can drive me bananas) so I was most def oooh-ing when I spied these red polka-dot ones at Tres Blah for a very reasonable $75L (you get 20 colors in the pack). My $L zoomed to Julliette Westerburg faster than you can say caramel stuck between tha teef.

Seasonal

The Seasons Hunt kicks off today, as anyone who reads the feeds likely already knows by now. The gifts are autumnal in theme, like this free forest green dress by Ingenue (worn with the sleeves off), which I paired with a free Glow Studio leaves brooch + this free fiery-red Clawtooth hair, which has little vines + branches stuck in it.
I was particularly excited to see 3 free &Bean skin tones in this hunt, the "pale" of which I'm wearing here. (To me, there's something intelligentsia about the &Bean facial expressions; maybe it's the super dark eyebrows). This free top is by Fashionably Dead + the free shortie blonde hair is a really cute one by Eha. These Glow Studio red ribbon rings are such a $1L steal too.

Watercolor

The free fur purse + free fur jacket gifts at Wave inspired this modern-day vintage styling, which to me recalled a muted watercolor painting with just a few splashes of color. A free "Something Old" necklace by Ganked added a chunky silver touch; a free tie-dyed tank by Fashionably Dead kept this look from being too pretty.
Fur purses are so great for those quasi-dramatic, casual toss of the head poses. The trick is tilting the hair just-so. See how this look says "Don't mind me, I just paid $3000 for this purse?" Totally.

Retro Mood

The latest free black & white checkered capris gift by WAvE put me in a '50s retro mood today, so I added a free loose tie by Tee*fy, a free gauzy white top (+ $1L lace undershirt) + a free fabby quilt bag by YS&YS for this girlie look. -- 'Natch I had to add a wide, modern cinch belt (with triple gold buckles!) by Pacadi Jasha just to mess up the retro mood a bit. Hee.

Doubleheader Sunday

I've been obsessed with the latest I Ce Coco free skin gift lately + wanted to show you 2 different looks with it.
Diamonds + gems dressed up this first casual style, featuring the lush polka dot $1L bodysuit by Wave that's already been plastered all over the feeds. Check out the tres killer denim miniskirt I found to go with it (these feather waist attachments are both unusual + supercute). I also love how these Donna Flora gems come with a handy-dandy HUD to change the gem color! *mwuahs Squinternet Larnia*
This 2nd look features another Donna Flora creation that I've been meaning to blog forever: this spectacular "Jazzy" fur jacket, impeccably textured with subtle streaks of blue + caramel beige running thru the fur. It's kinda undeniably fierce. The glam red bow adds that li'l something extra too.
I finally scooped these Pixel Mode "Baby T" pumps that every fashionista in SL apparently owns +I must say that these are really some of the most spectacular pumps I've seen yet in SL. -- Let me repeat; these shoes are To. Die. Love the anklet socks version too.
Between the crazy good shading on these pumps + the many droolworthy colors, it was bye bye $L time today.

Drivin' Miss Flapper Girl

Hullo everyone. It's been a minute but I'm so so excited to be blogging again this weekend! *happy dance*I haven't visited the Wave shop in some time + was pleased to see all sorts of new goodies up on the freebie wall. Check out this free feathery pink flapper girl look, just waiting to be plucked from there. (Check out my post here on Free*Style for another "motorcyle girl" look from this amazingly generous store).
These brown leather Courtisane boots are a gift at the Enky's $1L everything store (lotsa cute finds there, including some nice Exile hair). This gorgeous $1L flapper girl hair by IrEn, resplendent with these lovely soft brown curls, is now old news on the feeds but still one of the loveliest grabs at the Accessory Fair hunt (tons more good stuff there; look for black shopping hunt bags that are all free or $1L).
Ya knows I luhs a bit of silliness with my SL, and the RC Cluster store has all kinds of new goodies in its lucky chair. This "Pretend Car" comes with a really cute AO where you "fake drive" while bouncing your head from side to side. ZOMG do I want one of these in RL.
If you're thinking that this bodysuit top is slightly see-thru, well, you would be correct. Hee.
