Love Me Some Fake L.V.

Whilst traveling casual, some L.V. print (fake or real), heavy pearls + glossy red lips are never amiss.
I thought this $15L Louis Vuitton print sweater was so pretty falling off the shoulder; I just had to pair the fake L.V. trunk (by House of Fox, at The Arcade) + some sheer dotted tights with it. Plus how cute are these upside-down "flipped" ponys new by Truth? These mini-ponys together with the heavy bangs totally give that "I'm so innocent" vibe too, heh.

And now is when we obsess over the boots.
These double-zipper, gladiator-webbed, little rows of tiny bandaid strips ankle boots are just the stuff of ankle boot fetishes. Dream + I are absolutely obsessed; plus check out the perfectly contoured toe box. We think these comfy wedge ankle boots are tres citysmart (they must be, if 2 city girls approve them for NYC train ridin' -- and if need be, train perv arse-kickin') so we've now become obsessed with finding them in RL. Definitely the best $15L spent so far in the new year!

It's been exciting news in hairland this week ever since Truth released the new "Jayney" mesh hair, which comes with additional flexi parts that you can attach for the ultimate in meshy, flowy movement.
I'm also wearing the new Deviant Girls free T-shirt (now that V-day is over, it's greenies holiday time) + made a new free kitty friend, who I named Professor Tunacans. -- Don't be fooled by his small stature or fancy bowtie: turns out, he's got the troublemaking down, but good.
Hey Tunacans! Don't forget who's buying you that fancy gourmet tuna there, buddy. -- What a tattletale. *"Pssst G! Tunacans has stinky tuna breath!"*

And here's a no-frills navy look that I've been parading around in, featuring a pretty red keyhole top by Kyoot at Collabor88 + some free mesh boots by Coco (not sure how new this gift is; I just nabbed it this week (hello yumz caramel leather thin straps). Urban Resort

Everyone by now has likely seen the latest mesh releases for Maitreya, which I obviously couldn't resist styling for you either.
Creator Onyx Leshelle told me that this fun new collection of versatile separates (from wedge boots to printed skirts + leather pants) was the result of 4-5 months of steady design work, and you can really see all the usual satisfying Maitreya details (from teeny buttons on blouse sleeves to zipper "pulls" on these wedge booties). Some flirty new hairs by Milana + Wasabi Pills helped dress up these smart, casual pieces, which to me, felt like what we urbanfolk might wear if we wanted to imagine doing the whole wintertime resort escape thang -- but we were really stuck in, say, a whitewashed loft in the city instead. *dreams of sunny beaches, frozen drinks + other tropical yummies*
One thing I've always appreciated about Maitreya is how Onyx LeShelle deliberately ventures into new color territory with each new release, like her new "Grape" and "Moss" hues that I'm showing in the backless "Athena" sweater in the 1st pic above. Check the tiny pockets tucked just underneath the buttie on these leather pants; a totally impractical, utterly fashionista touch that's tres urban chic. -- Btw this hat hair is an older Maitreya one that I couldn't bring myself to take off, once I saw how it smartened up these casual styles.

Now if only a magical P.J. (that's private jet to all us non-zillionaires) would show up at our door for a quick whisk down to warmer climes. Resort dreams love + fashionista kisses to all!

Chicken 'n Waffles

I was styling my 2nd installment of images for Le.Look! when I happened upon this free military "jacket shirt" by Whippet & Buck just hanging out on a back wall (no idea how old this gift is, but it wasn't already in my inventory). For some reason this put me in a finger-lickin' mood; some free tasty fried chicken from Poche helped curb the ol' poultry cravings, which were 'specially tasty with this free waffle ring that everybody's been wearing. *dribbles chicken juice on self; sops it up with waffle*
I'm also showing some brand-new pieces from the Glow Studio summer collection (including these fabby feather necklace + earrings, freakin' fantastic feather ring + sumptuously thick lashes), the latest flowey headband "Lacey" hair by Truth + a pretty new "Babette" skin by mah girl Fade Lei for her Ugly Duck skin line (glowy skin fans, this one's for you), all of which glammed up this casual look a notch or three. -- I have no idea why my free cuppycake friends were so upset; maybe 'cuz they knew their tasty selves were gonna be eated soon. It's Bewbies!

As womenz, our bewbies get pushed around, poked, prodded, stuffed (?), etc., so when I saw this free boob-shaped cuppycake + free nipple cake (shot here as a seat), I knew I had to build an image around all the ways in which we celebrate/support/show off les bewbies. A free sheer dress/bikini set from DeeTalez gave "the twins" even more of a front row center display. -- They're such attention whores, really.
