Ice World

I recently checked out the new "ice world" art installation at MetaLES + got lost in the icy caverns below the glacial landing point ("fall" into the hole here to check it out). The "ice" itself might be largely monochromed, but the many textures made for some interesting effects, especially when playing with Windlight.
Silver is 1 of those neutrals I don't wear often, but I fell hard for this detailed new tank by The Plastik, featuring a colorful feathers detail trailing along the bodice + hem (a feathers tat continued the avian theme). Some teeny tiny holed knee-hi socks by Amerie (how scrumptious is this detail? No idea how old these are, but I just luv 'em); the cutie free bowtie stockings I mentioned last time + this crazy adorables new mini-Princess Leia updo by Ploom (the li'l cinnamon buns adorning either side are such a playful, gamine touch).

I'm A Grower, Not A Shower

I was in the mood to play outdoor gardener today, so I headed to Alirium Gardens to pick up some glowy grasses + foliage stuffs. A pretty winter build greeted me that also let me grab some quality time with the local wildlife; for example, this wolf seemed quite overcome by the sheer fabbyness of this free Vuitton travel bag.
Alirium Gardens is actually 1 of my fave builds to wander around in (be sure to explore all the dreamy levels). It's also such a great spot for photogs + capturing those private awwws moments.
I realized that I never grabbed the utterly fantastic free butterflies gift here (how these gorges butterfly "clusters" clock in at a scant 1 prim each, I know not). The "clusters" are mod too; here's how I stretched 'em over our front yard.

I decided to kick off the week with some shopping of a more, um, personal nature.

These awes ripped argyle tights are also free + a real find (they're ripped in several places + supercute); I don't usually wear tartilicious skirts like this one, but this free mini by Blow-Up seemed to fit this vibe (make sure to grab the superfun fatpack of free animated lollis there too). The unmatched ruffle boots are an oldie but goodie $1L grab at Enky's + the hair is worth mentioning since Amacci is currently selling all styles in the bright "Crazy" color pack for a mere $35L (this is such a great way to try out new styles + play with colors that you wouldn't normally wear).
