Spring Forward.

I've finally gotten with the times + ponied up for a spanking new graphics card, and all I can say is, had I known SL was this gosh darn gorgeous (the textures! the shadows as you walk!) I would've leaped over to the now finally updated graphics card side a long ass time ago. -- 'Course now, this means I must somewhat break with my current in-photo-studio shooting routine; this will be fun however, since I can't wait to see what PS can do with these graphics, especially as I become more NVIDIA-familiar in the coming months!
And since it's been wintry as hell here in NYC, I escaped in-world to the stunning Neverland SIM for some warm idyllic pastures (click the sign for the OOC 3-day visitor tag; wear it to TP via the railway car into the SIM, where picturesque opportunities abound). The latest bowtied style by Truth, some lovely floral print pants + a silk tank by Baiastice got me fully in the Springtime mood.

Btw if you don't pick up this $14L enamel collar necklace by BSD, you're srsly missing out on a striking jewelry gift. I so want this piece in RL; just picture how smartly these Aztec-like, geometric patterns would freshen up your fave casual jeans!

Fall Ready.

Well, I guess there's no denying that it's officially Fall, what with Labor Day being over + all. At least there's these fabby new coatdresses by Ricielli to help us welcome in the new, chillier season. I love the trenchcoat-like, gold belt + single lapel detail; plus, this is exactly the sort of piece that's tres perfect for mesh, since the whole thing moves with your body.
I'm showing 2 colors here (the indigo blue hue + beige/nude snakeskin print), in addition to some pretty new hairstyles this week by Truth + Ploom. Plus this fabby oversized doctor's bag (in my 1st pic above) is free on the Summer Harvest Hunt (isn't it a find?)

Summer Breeze.

Creator fever has apparently caught fire across the grid since there's been a veritable explosion of new releases in the last week. I'm showing you some cherry picks here: check out this dramatically long, "fat" herringbone motif skirt by Baiastice, which paired smartly with this simple yet classic cropped v-neck, bone-colored sweater (luhs the capped sleeves too); creator Moca Loup's long-awaited new release for her exquisite Tram brand (there's been so many "jumper"-type pieces surfacing recently for warmer weather, but this belted faded denim version is 1 of the cutest I've seen yet); and finally, some bright separates by Gloxx (pink + orange is such a luscious color combo; my fave Maitreya flip-flops were a 'natch for this beachy mood).
