I'm still surprised at how freakin' great the finds are at Collabor88 + this month, creator R2 Aya breaks from her usual pretty feets closet to present this rich cherry silk brocade tank. It dips nottie low in front + comes with a giant black silk bow on the back (so I dropped another bow into the cleavage to match, hehe). This week's long, flowy bangs "Elsa" style by Truth (with a plump side bun for a touch o' elegance) offered a classy touch to offset these wide patches of skin.

Can you believe it's been 1 year of my fave monthly discount event Collabor88? This month's 1-year anniversary boasts a supergangsta roster of all of the creator talent that's ever showcased at this event, with some particularly outstanding finds (not just fashion) for this month's multi-interpretational "Baroque" theme -- all for the usual discount price of $88L & under.

Now that my Mother's Day (RL) jewelry crush is largely over, I'm able to show you the new goodies at Collabor88 + a slew of gorges new hairs + jewels. -- Being such a sucker for ponys, I haven't been able to take off these upside-down flipped "Tisha" ones by Truth; plus check out this color-change "Harlow" briollette beads set by Donna Flora (so glad to see Squinternet Larnia creating new styles again). A new delicate blue lace sleeveless dress by Nylon Outfitters + some shiny gold peeptoes fit my casual girlie mood today.
A closer look at this opal-esque set in an bright indigo blue (shiny pretty things = ohhh ahhh); see the 1st pic above for the golden pearl color, which was 1 of the more delicate hues in the HUD.
This month's Collabor88 also features this highly whimsical "moving sky" jewelry by League (these tiny clouds actually move! + you get 6 different configurations in the pack), which I paired with new sideswept hair by Clawtooth + this girlie shortie jumper by Hucci (check out these scrumptiously textured ruffles fitting snugly against the bodice).
My friend Moca Loup has also released more of her cutie shortie hairs; I loved this flipped-ends feathered style, featuring a lustrous pearl gem nestled into the side part. Awwws!

Miss Meshed

So . . . this week's mesh update to Phoenix Viewer was essentially an early Xmas gift for us photogs, since it meant that we got to keep Phoenix's user-friendly interface + view mesh stuff. For moi, this was a reason to show some meshy hair, clothes + shoes that I'd been wanting to style (but was too lazy to brave the annoying viewers for).
Isn't this Gaga-like thick eyeliner fierce? It's 1 of my fave new finds at the upcoming Four Corners event (stay tuned for more blog coverage of this event to follow later). I also thought this poufy, mussed, shortie hair that's new by Wasabi Pills was 'specially cute.
Like many other people, I did observe that while I luhs the way the mesh stuff moves with my AO, because my avi is so curvy, I still glimpsed "breaks" in the clothing (this will undoubtedly become less of an issue as mesh becomes more customized). -- I'm also not loving that to many folks still using (non-mesh) viewers, I basically look semi-nakey with a giant donut floating around my middle. -- Ah well, such is the price of technology.
In other photog news, hopefully y'all have been heading to Adorkable to their free 1 pose a day before Xmas. The new CHIC Limited shopping event kicks off tomorrow March 12, this time themed around nature's elements. This primal theme has inspired new fantasy skins from 1 of my fave skinmakers, creator Rhapzody Wilde of Mynerva. Here's a sneak peek at her striking interpretation of "Water."

I'm A Grower, Not A Shower

I was in the mood to play outdoor gardener today, so I headed to Alirium Gardens to pick up some glowy grasses + foliage stuffs. A pretty winter build greeted me that also let me grab some quality time with the local wildlife; for example, this wolf seemed quite overcome by the sheer fabbyness of this free Vuitton travel bag.
Alirium Gardens is actually 1 of my fave builds to wander around in (be sure to explore all the dreamy levels). It's also such a great spot for photogs + capturing those private awwws moments.
I realized that I never grabbed the utterly fantastic free butterflies gift here (how these gorges butterfly "clusters" clock in at a scant 1 prim each, I know not). The "clusters" are mod too; here's how I stretched 'em over our front yard.

Giddyup

The newest installment of the ProPosers Hunt has kicked off, meaning the opportune time to stock up on the grid's best free poses + pose props. This horsey pose toy by Adorkable was 1 of my faves; it kinda left some curious footprints tho'.
The Seasons Hunt has already done the blog rounds (as has my free outfit above) but some of the nicest grabs are the smaller things, like this free hangers/clothespin set by Nordari (which btw fit perfectly into this free Concrete Flowers skybox's shelving unit).
These raven stenciled dishes by Kosh are another free gift in the There's No Place Like Home Hunt (the shadows are by me, lol).
