Hi hi everyone! Did you miss me? Did ya even notice that I was gone? Hehe. *air smoochies all around* Between RL jewelry designing, puppy mommying, launching a new online startup + a new thing for me in RL -- professional product photography editing (i.e., gettin' PAID to do Photoshop, y'all!) -- RL has been winning out (hard!) lately. Still, I had to pop inworld to show you some new pretties from this month's autumnal-celebratory round of Collabor88, featuring this schoolgirl, Peter Pan- collared dress + suede platform boots by League (!), which I paired with this scrumptious crimson-lipped "Candy" skin by Glam Affair that you can scoopie at The Arcade. -- And since I was feelin' the schoolgirl vibe (can you blame me, with Fall soundly upon us), I had to go with these glamorously pouffed-up, bewitchingly glam "Lyma" ponys by Truth, with this smex pouffy crown, trailing waves + sideways-swept heavy bangs. Btw this triple-decker ice cream was something that blogger + Sugar Heart creator Sugar Heartsdale dropped on me for her offerings at the last round of Atelier Kreslo. High Summer.

High summer is here, along with many scrumptious things tres fitting for the hot, arid season: I'm loving this texture-change cowboy hat hair by Truth (the notched straw texture of the hat is so meticulously done); the extremely pretty "Summer" skin by Glam Affair (which would work beautifully in any season, actually) + some silky, ruffled separates by Teefy that you can scoopie at the newest round of Collabor88. -- Plus how liquidy + beguiling are these dark eyes? More to love from creator Ikon Innovia's latest "Ascension" line (and a dead-on match to this particular shade of rusted brown straw hat, I might add).

Rainbow Vision.

Oftentimes, a li'l deliberate starry-eyed vision can aid tremendously in getting thru the day. (Tends to really cheese off the naysayers, too).

This starry-eyed pic was inspired by the newest heavy bangs hair by Truth (have you seen the fabby new build yet?) + these rainbow-swathed, star-stenciled printed eyes that are free for The Sugar Garden VIP group members. -- Too bad we can't simply snap these in before going out in RL!

And in other news, bright pinks & summery yellows are such a quintessential warm weather color combo. Don'tcha just really want something cold + fruity to drink now?
This single-hued strapless dress is also new by The Sugar Garden; the chunky floral collar + earrings are fun adornments by Glam Affair, as is the skin (these bold magenta lips + bumblebee yellow eyeshadow have firmly placed this skin into my permanent rotation).

Silver Linings.

You can never have enough heels, especially the razor-thin stilettos kind.
Baiastice creator Sissy Pessoa's newest snakeskin stilettos come with oodles of texture-change sock options. Usually one for punched-up color, I was immediately drawn to this muted, soft silvery tone (which I found tres elegant with these teensy black polka-dotted socks).
All this silver landed me squarely in a retro Hollywood glam mood, so I dressed it up with some trailing diamond jewels, the latest sideswept "Caprice" updo by Truth that I've been obsessed with for weeks + the sparkly, silvery gray "Platinum" shade of Ikon's latest Ardent eyes. My go-to 1-shoulder "Dakota" dress by Maitreya finished this no-fuss silvery look.
And since I've still been obsessing over new home decor stuffs, here are some free pretties for those with a green thumb: this free gardening desk (complete with clay flowerpots, seed packets, "Biologica" dirt sack + some wooden tray things), which I combined with these gorges single plants in gardening soil sacks (you get 3 different mesh ones for free by El Patio Inc.).
Speaking of El Patio Inc., I'm so glad that creator Denise Rowlands graciously invited me to check out her striking Crash Boat SIM, since this place is simply crammed with ready-made ops for photogs. Be sure to wander past the stores plaza to check out the abandoned railway cars, rustic  wooden bridge, rainy mountaintop scene (complete with tucked-away cozy shack!) & even a solitary control tower. My fave was simply taking in the glowing sunset on the boat-strewn beach, which was broken up beautifully by tiny flowing streams + whitewashed logs. This beach actually so reminded me of my fave sandy spots in Hawaii; Denise really got that mix of solitude + artfully-strewn nature just right! Most def on my permanent must-TP list as a serene hideout for some good old-fashioned peace + quiet.

City Spring by Maitreya.

Creator Onyx LeShelle's newest designs satisfyingly deliver on the shopperista anticipation that always surrounds the newest releases for her iconic Maitreya brand.
One thing I always appreciate about the Maitreya releases is the consistent, oh-so-easy elegance: creator Onyx LeShelle's designs are never fussy or overworked, focusing instead on what all fashionistas know makes all the difference: a close attention to detail. Check out the realistic "folds" of the drapery in these tops, and just a hint of shadows on the teensy straps of the feet (it's also fun that you get tons of color + texture combos on the straps + the platforms, making it easy to tailor any look).
These vibrant, feminine color palettes make these extremely wearable pieces all the more alluring for Spring.
And since it's always smart to spend your $L on pieces that are truly versatile, it's nice that these casual separates work together so seamlessly, so that you can fluidly style different types of looks.

These hard-to-find free melted chocolate leggings (which Gavin found for me today, hehe) put me in a candy-colored mood today. Idyllic Mood.

NYC is officially on hurricane lockdown, meaning we're all essentially having what amounts to a snow day sprinkled with the angst of pending disaster (i.e., mass transit shut down, panic run on the grocery stores for water + batteries, etc.). Styling-wise, this meant a calming neutrals palette was definitely in order. I slipped on the newest nude suede ruched skirt & belted blazer set by Ricielli, this deliciously messy, 2-tone "Josie" style new by Truth + some new coral-toned Donna Flora jewels. And since some alcohol is never amiss in a disaster, this free yummy pumpkin cocktail helped calm the nerves a bit. *slurps generously*
We NYCers are no strangers to weather; still, I must say that these whirling "wind tunnel" noises are a bit scary. Searching for flashlights love + fashionista kisses to all!
