It can be challenging to find a natural-looking frex skin inworld, which is why I was so excited to see this fresh, youthful "Luna" freckled face by Glam Affair (another Collabor88 find).
The pert nose & full lips add a touch of insouciance to this otherwise innocent face; i.e., a great face to slip on when you're trying to get away with something, hehe. A burnt orange trench by Emery & this loose, draped, multi-braided "Verinne" hair new by Truth added a touch of ginger zest to this modern boho look.

Tonight seemed like a good time to get in some quiet contemplation, so I grabbed my owl friends to park it in the woods for some nighttime meditations with the fireflies.

Taking the Plunge.

It seems that some of us are too scared to take the plunge, even in poolside waters.
These latest cap hairs by Truth are perfect for adding a touch o' no-fuss casual summer style (how fitting would these be for summer with some denim cutoffs + your fave tank)? I'm showing the shorter one (which is actually a men's style) above together with a pretty free striped dress by OrsiniRed (yet another talented blogger's inworld imprint) + some other fun freebies that are yours for the taking, courtesy of the ongoing plethora of current hunts.

I also had to show you my newest absolute fave dark eye, this beguiling "Darkstar" shade in Ikon's latest "Ascension" line. -- Mysteriously ombre + rich in color (despite the dark hue; something that's quite rare in dark eyes) with hints of indigo, and full of realistic shine, I loved wearing this eye against a tomato-red lipstick + thick lashes.

The Girls Are Out.

I couldn't let this week slip by without showing you 2 of my fave things this week: this asymmetrical bob style new by Truth + this utterly gorges new "Cleo" skin by Glam Affair, for which you can scoopie a gangload of lipsticks for at the ongoing latest installment of Cosmetics Fair.
I was having a conversation with 1 of SL's most respected bloggers the other day about nudity, and how she receives complaints about it on a regular basis (although she only does artistic nudes). The perverse side of me decided to up the count of how many times I've ever shown nip on this blog to the whopping count of ... 2 (the 1st time being many moons ago). There's actually a shopperista reason this time: this shows why I'm absolutely in luhs with the Glam Affair appliers for Lola's Tangos. -- Aren't these nips sooo pink, pert & pretty? Dream & I decided to splurge on the Lolas mesh breasts together + let me tell you, I never imagined SL plastic surgery could be this much fun! While it's highly annoying that there's no demo for them -- especially since these mesh breastises are far from cheap -- if you ever want to play with your shape in a new way (and self-mesmerize for a bit), I highly recommend giving these a whirl. Or a bounce, so to speak. (Dream & I spent about an hour just bouncing ourselves around). Note that the bounce script is separate (you have to rez the breastises on the ground + add them to the Content tab, in Edit mode); the one I found was a $1L group gift which lets you choose between 4 degrees of bounce, and it works as well as anything else my gfs purchased off of Marketplace (apparently, current grid limitations make the bounce only visible when you walk, no matter which script you use); drop me an IM inworld if you'd like the dollarbie script info.
And in other news, there's always time for a free dress + some old-skool tunes shopping. Isn't that convenient about SLastic surgery? Takes no time at all! Hehe.

This week's 2 new Truth styles shown below offer your choice of a dramatic "pouffe" updo bun (that I find very fashionista) + this beautiful half-up, longer style that's so handy for showing off earrings. Plus you get this puffy crown area resting just above the forehead that's so so smex.
The new Collabor88 session kicked off yesterday + as per usual, there's a stellar series of new things worth at least a browse. As promised, here's another flavor of the Tram long shirt coats, this time in a farmgirl friendly red checkered print, which I paired with the gorges free white lace bodysuit from Diapop + some free white fishnets. -- This wasn't a poolside practical ensemble per se, but it worked just fine for some quality (blue Slurpee) time with Gavin. Heh.
I've been diggin' this new tomoto-red lipped "Circus" skin by MonS that I spied on the creator's Flickr, which I found tres jolie with this new, messy bangs "Cecilia" side braid by Truth.

Mah gf Tram creator Moca Loup has just released some darling new "coat shirt"-type longer top pieces that are tres perfect for lazin' around in yo' undies. This blue striped/white collar + French cuffs version is just 1 of several versions that are all just so damn cute. *mwuahs Moca Loup*
I couldn't resist a free Bambi-faced neck strap coin purse with this fawn-colored version; a free sheer chiffon dress by Fore + the new "Miku" bow-accented updo by Truth completed this dollface look. -- Yes that's a bit o' nip showin'; hopefully nobody minds too much, hehe. *prepares for G's wrath*
Btw if you haven't yet seen this $15L "doll joints" skin that's making the blog rounds, it's worth a look-see; the Rotten Toe skins are always something of a surprise (they're uber-cheapies, but always so lovely!) + I found the beestung lips on this latest group gift to be notably superpouty.
