Friends Drift.

So Many Styles creator Irie Campese has released some new casual separates in grays & pastels that are perfect for Springtime moods. I'm showing the striped skirt, mint green cross + floral tank here; some skully accessories + Alexander McQueen booties scaled back the prissy mood; over-the-top crayon hair seemed like a 'natch, so I added the new "Pony" (as in, My Little) color pack by Ploom. The heavily poofed, face-framing pieces in this "Anarin" style were just perfect for showing off these pretty pastel streaks; the dreamy seashell listening pose is by Ploom as well.
Ohai there old friend! Did ya miss me? I think you've grown a bit since you lived in my tiny aquarium, hehe.

I'm always on the lookout for hairstyles so timeless they're "for the ages," so to speak, and this week's new "Valeska" style by Truth is just that: soft, bouncy curls cut to a classic nape-length, for a natural, impeccably elegant touch to any look.
This 5th Avenue hair inspired me to put together some no-fuss chic appropriate for all the winter traveling up ahead, so I threw together this look via a few layers (the striped corset underneath is new for Project Themeory).
A yummy sale scarf by Miel (check the impressive "folds" in the drapery; so nice that you can color-change the fringe + scarf color too), the high-waisted Fishy Strawberry pants that make everybody's butt look tres fine + some free luggage (+ free passport) that I remembered in my inventory got me ready for my travels. -- This was just a pretty shot near some impressive cloud formations, heh.

Leopard and zebra prints in the latest BAX animal print boots (released earlier this month) + this week's new Truth hairs (both long-ish and lioness-like) inspired these 2 rawrrry looks today.
I've been unable to take off this new Ugly Duck "Babette" skin, mostly 'cuz it so closely resembles a serene china doll's face (the carefully-pursed lips are exquisite). -- I also noticed that on such a pale skin tone, dark lipsticks totally affect how "mature" the skin feels; this would be so fun to style with darker looks as well.
This zebra look is a li'l matchy-matchy, but that was my mood today (plus how perfect are these free Sheer zebra tights with these boots)? Some chunky turquoise jewelry + the newest gold 'n feather accessories by Glow Studio spruced things up a bit. -- See what I mean about this lipstick? Luhs.

Caramel Culture Shock

Nemesis creator Calypso Clip is debuting several feminine, caramel-toned pieces for the massive upcoming CHIC Management Culture Shock event that I wanted to show you. These separates work so well together as an ensemble; I added nude & black capped heels by SLink, a gorges new apple print shoulder bag by Izumiya + a long new twisted hair by Milana to complete this fawn-colored look.

This post is to show you the special pieces that Donna Flora creator Squinternet Larnia has created especially for Fashion for Life. Her new "Luzie" dress features a color-change HUD, which allows you to dye the bow, sash + other ruffly aspects to colors of your choice.
I threw on this free melon-colored fedora by C'est La Vie for a casual touch here; Squinternet is also offering her cloche hats that I previously blogged here at her $100L gatcha (look for them in the "champagne stand" courtyard near her booth). These "Lena" earrings feature 3 blooms trailing down the ear; I loved them with this "Bettina" 3-blooms necklace.
Now I'm not usually a ballroom gown kinda gal, but I dare you to eye the magnificent builds at Fashion for Life + not feel the teensiest bit fancy.
This frilly creation is Squinternet's "Leonor" gown, which I paired with her "Sunset" choker, a droolworthy piece that trails down the cleavage with these candy-colored cabochon gems. -- Btw if I look a tad bit melancholy here, it's 'cuz Gavin was teasing me by withholding puffy Cheetos during this photo shoot. By now, the feeds have been jammed with the usual excellent coverage of the upcoming March 5 Pure Juice event. Organizer Keira Seerose & Co. do find the cutest stuffs (nearly everything in this post is debuting at this event). -- I also must say that the advanced organization of these events is sooo appreciated; makes things a helluva lot easier for us unpaid photogs bloggers too.
When I spied the sculpty shoulder pads on this Gaga-retro-futuristic dress by paper.doll, I knew it was pose time.
This fierce new face by MonS lent some 'tude to this look (how candylicious are these plummy lips)? I added some color-dotted "bangle" hoops for a whimsical touch to this free serious hat hair.
Cool Beans is offering this sweetheart of a bubble dress, which I paired with these pretty new Donna Flora "Butterfly" jewels + gem-studded cloche hat.
Here's a closer look at this asymmetrically-styled jewelry + the stunning a.e.meth eye makeup I'm wearing thruout. -- I've become rather addicted to this brand's "wet" eyeliners; the touch of shine on these black lids + undereyes is so modern. A geometric pink blusher gave this girlie wirlie look just a bit o' edge.

Winter White Party

The Skin Fair 2011 kicked off today + amongst the gifties/cheapies for the grabbing, I especially liked these $20L eyeliner makeups by Mynerva (you get several in the pack). I'm also showing the other new Truth hair this week, this gloriously messy "Betty" updo, featuring a braided piece wrapped around the back + nape. *mwuahs Truth Hawks*Here's a look I put together around the new free cropped white denim jacket by Deviant Designs + some older goodies, like a free Pig top + these fun $1L 2-toned socks (still available; look for a trio of boxes on the floor). I wanted just a touch of pastels for this Winter White party look + was excited to see these sherbet-y Tee*fy leggings on sale (I've had my eye on them for a minute). Meet Kianna

Mynerva skins were all over the feeds last year, and for good reason: creator Rhapzody Wilde's lush, glowy, youthful faces quickly captured many a skin whore's heart like moi. We've all been waiting to see what Rhapzody would come up with next, and I'm tres excited to show you a sneak peek at "Kianna," which retains all the oh-so-natural quality of Rhapzody's previous skins, but adds that certain knowing look -- like an older sister who's now ready to misbehave (translation: we finally get the smoky eye makeups I've been dying for in this brand!) I'm also a sucker for the utterly smex play of smudged eyes against a soft, neutral lip.
The "Raven" series offers a razor-sharp pen eyeliner makeup, which is so striking against this clean, luminous face.
Here's the soft, glowy Mynerva body, which I'm showing with this month's free pink ballerina slippers by Indie Rose + some cutie patootie heart panties + $10L socks.
