Essences creator Inka Mexicola has 3 new skin tones out at TDR Fusion that offer 3 vibrant eye makeups with her trademark intelligentsia face, which I found particularly compelling in the brunette version, framed by these unapologetically dark brows. Some tangly, octopus-like gemstone earring clips by Donna Flora, a new sable-hued shortie hair by Tram + the luminous, oceanic "Skyfall" hued eyes by Ikon framed this gamine face.
Don't ya just love it when your li'l winged friends bring you gemstones? Today was emeralds (how'd he know this was perfect for today's look)? Hehe.

Idyllic Spring.

It's been a minute since Gavin + I have switched up our abode, so the new beachy-ready windmill build at Collabor88 was the perfect reason to start dreaming of ocean waves + breezier climes. We were actually just browsing the airy, loft-like homes at Scarlet Creative the other day, so it was such a lovely surprise to see this modern brand participating in Collabor88 this round!
The 2nd floor has a cool li'l reading nook that I thought was perfect for some stargazing (also known in NYC as neighbor-peeping, i.e., a perfectly respectable pastime for us urbanites).
Gavin likes to mention how much animals love him, so naturally, it wasn't long before some loveable strays decided to take up residence near the watermelons. That middle black one "Scar" was definitely the ringleader; for some reason, he kept on biting and scratching G, hehe.
And a view from up top, near the windmill blades. There's a small walkway here offering a tranquil spot for a bench repose, near some tomato-red geraniums + a huge expanse of Springtime sky.

Primary colors are such a sprightly way to cheer up winter.

Happy holidays all! Hope everyone is squeezing in as many holiday parties (i.e., a perfectly respectable reason to booze it up + blurt out all sorts of embarrassing things) as possible. -- Me, I always find time to sneak in a li'l sweet treat or two, amidst all the boozin' + merriment. Can you believe it's been 1 year of my fave monthly discount event Collabor88? A lusciously thick eyeliner, a pert button nose + plump-but-natural lips are what Pink Fuel creator Mochi Milena has debuted in her long-awaited new "Alena" skin. I'm showing 2 makeups here: the crimson-lipped, cat-eyed "Classic" + the smokey eyed, nude-lipped "Scene" (my personal fave).

Mr. Truth Hawks has been extremely generous this week, giving us his new "Bunny" double ponys style for free (in the fatpack!) that I blogged here + this gorges mesh "Twila" mini-ponys updo, featuring low side-parted bangs + longer, lush pieces that trail down the bodice.
I'm also showing you the newest "Horizon" eyes by Ikon in this warm dark brown color, which remind me of milky chocolate (it's hard to find pretty dark eyes on the grid + these are notably pretty). Continuing with more "French New Wave"-themed pieces from this month's new Collabor88, I immediately noticed this ultragirlie new pink miniskirt outfit by Tres Blah, which I loved with these tongue-in-cheek pastel pink Eiffel Tower earrings by Intrigue Co. + some free chunky metallic bangles. -- Plus isn't this free sparkly cuppycakes wand tres fun? I added it just 'cuz.

Ikoneyed.

Creator Ikon Innovia has attracted a lot of attention in recent months for his notably realistic eyes (his new Ikon store is the reincarnation of his previous Fashism brand). I've been impressed by his latest "Utopia" line, and the color I'm wearing here, "Trojan Blue," features a darker cerulean blue rimming the iris, that fades into a soft powder blue, with a soft, natural, walnut brown color framing the pupil. -- The eye is actually the only part of this pic that's utterly un-retouched; that's how impeccable Ikon's skills are. Take a look.
In other news, 1 of the 2 new releases by Truth this week include this beautifully tousled half-updo "Maggie," which was so pretty that I had to show it in 2 colors here (you also get a trailing, over-the-shoulder mesh piece, for more bohemian styling). This neon North Face parka, floofy pink leopard skirt, panda purse necklace + candy hoop earrings were all either free or $1L; tres handy for weathering the elements with a splash o' color.
Look for more colors of these fabby Ikon eyes in future posts (I'm looking forward to shooting their green-brown "Hazel" shade, which apparently is 1 of their most popular).
