For some reason today Gavin thought it would be amusing to hide my favorite purse in his messy male closet today. -- I didn't find the purse, but I did manage to steal G's new striped tux + fedora (the Gizza one at Vintage Fair that's been blogged like crazy). -- This week's new pouffed updo "Soleil" by Truth, some garnet droplet earrings by Donna Flora + the latest gorge fire engine red-lipped Glam Affair skin let me feel very much like a lady, even in G's oversized clothes. -- Ha! And now to find that purse. *steals more of G's stuff; tosses G's fugliest socks + undies out the window*

Last Night A DJ Saved My Life . . .

Ever since Magic Nook creator Ayumi Cassini sent her freakin' fantastico DJ earrings my way, I've styled about 10 looks with 'em, never quite satisfied with the result. Here's a couple images that I finally chose to edit, the 1st featuring creator Fae Eriksen's brand-new glitter-strewn, 1-shoulder sweater for Fishy Strawberry (you even get these delicate lace corsages for both chest + hair included, yay!) + some delectable prim foodstuffs, all of which I snagged for free at Poche (absolutely no idea why so many of these beautiful treats are set to $0L; I also can't remember which location had what for free, so foodies might wanna check creator Miyu Adder's profile to hit up her other location to ensure getting all her yummies available).
Since I've been known to get behind the wheels o' steel from time to time, I couldn't resist another look with these earrings, this time featuring a texture-change bag from Kari that I just adore + the current Shag $75L "minibangs" sale hair for Project Themeory (this is being left out for the weekend since it was late being set out - thanks Seb + Dai!)
And in posestuffs news, the latest buzz is that Xanadu Capelo (formerly of Xbordeaux) has opened a new pose store together with creator Lollipop Briggs called Madeleine. There's 2 gift poses for free if you click the boxes on the front desk (+ more of Xana's older clothing in the 2 little figurines in the cubbyholes). -- I really love how these girls have created poses that are girlie in mood, yet also imminently wearable for showing off clothes; just 1 reason why Xana's pose work is so known + respected. You can also still pick up her "Pacific Skies" set at Flasher for $1L (she's leaving the gift out for now, so grab it while you can).

I've been dying to show you these adorable Bambi-print bags + warm neck wraps (complete with fuzzy bobble tips!) that Tram creator Moca Loup has newly released, just in time for winter snuggliness. (An angel-white version with red ties is yours as a free gift too). *mwuahs Moca Loup*
What I appreciate about Moca's pieces is how cohesively they all work together: like a proper RL collection, her accessories, dresses, etc. are inherently mix 'n match-able. -- Here's the same fur neck wrap + skirt, this time styled with a touch o' color via these $50L cherry boots at Redgrave + a cassette messenger bag that's such a steal for $50L (the bag is texture change; grab the free sculpty Xmas "feast" table here too).
