Love Me Some Fake L.V.

Whilst traveling casual, some L.V. print (fake or real), heavy pearls + glossy red lips are never amiss.
I thought this $15L Louis Vuitton print sweater was so pretty falling off the shoulder; I just had to pair the fake L.V. trunk (by House of Fox, at The Arcade) + some sheer dotted tights with it. Plus how cute are these upside-down "flipped" ponys new by Truth? These mini-ponys together with the heavy bangs totally give that "I'm so innocent" vibe too, heh.

And now is when we obsess over the boots.
These double-zipper, gladiator-webbed, little rows of tiny bandaid strips ankle boots are just the stuff of ankle boot fetishes. Dream + I are absolutely obsessed; plus check out the perfectly contoured toe box. We think these comfy wedge ankle boots are tres citysmart (they must be, if 2 city girls approve them for NYC train ridin' -- and if need be, train perv arse-kickin') so we've now become obsessed with finding them in RL. Definitely the best $15L spent so far in the new year!

A Modern Vintage.

Vintage Fair 2012 is upon us + like last year, this event's concept of "vintage" spans not only what we traditionally think of as retro eras (the "Flapper Girl" styles of the Roaring '20s; the Art Deco geometric patterns, etc.) but also the casual, stylistically wacky looks of the '80s (legwarmers alert)! I also like how the sprawling 3-SIM build itself -- complete with cobblestone streets and uptown storefronts -- is tailored into an elegant place to shop for fresh, timeless ways to doll up your avi.
This gently scalloped, fluttery hemmed, knee-length dress embodies the feminine lines of classic "vintage" style, which I loved in this rich chocolate brown silk ('specially set off by cherry red lips). Dotted caramel sheer tights & a cream-colored, chain-strapped mini-purse by MS (a new designer for me), plus this week's new "Milly" long mesh style by Truth (the twin bobbypins add such a demure touch to this bangless style) finished this retro glam look.

Li'l Red Riding (No) Hood

If Li'l Red Riding Hood slipped on the new floral dress by So Many Styles, threw on some red fishnets, ditched the wolf+ got this Vive9 envelope clutch instead, this is what she might look like.
The Curio skin on sale this weekend at Truth District has wooed my inner fashionista with its lovely fall palette of darker lips + eyes, which for some reason put me in a classic pearl studs kinda mood.

Today's look is a mix 'n match of stuff from this weekend's Truth District 50% off sale + the freakin' fabby new goodies at the new installment of Collabor88. Both of these store lineups read like a who's who of designers; i.e., major fun times creating looks from these 2 events.
This tousled shortie hair by Elikatira is a sale find at Collabor88; I paired a free mini-pumpkins 'n floral headpiece by BP, a Vive9 sale purse in this delicate tangerine shade + a skin from a designer who's gotten tons of attention this year, Hart Larsson at PXL.
Check out the frex action on this face: as someone who wears a lot of frex skins, these are some of the most realistic I've seen on the grid. The newest Donna Flora black pearls, the latest Tokidoki group gift + some exquisite "leopard" print nails by Je Suis finished this autumnal look.

Season of the Shark

Caramel Culture Shock

Nemesis creator Calypso Clip is debuting several feminine, caramel-toned pieces for the massive upcoming CHIC Management Culture Shock event that I wanted to show you. These separates work so well together as an ensemble; I added nude & black capped heels by SLink, a gorges new apple print shoulder bag by Izumiya + a long new twisted hair by Milana to complete this fawn-colored look.
I realize that my free green bear didn't exactly "go" with this look, but his rainbow-printed tummie was too cute to resist. Plus his little friends kept peeking in on the photo shoot. Hehe.

These looks were built around the free rolled-waist white denim shorts that the lovely Emma Gilmour of Surf Couture has set out at her Le.Look! location. *mwuahs Emma* This warm golden brown bob hair is newly free by Uncle Web (love the height at the crown; such a smexeh touch) which just works really well with this fantastic skin tone. The white thermal $1L top + free scarf-tied shoulder bag are both finds from Tres Blah.
Check out these free angel's wings by Boom, featuring this unique trailing "back necklace" which falls down the contours of the back. Like this skin, there's something way cute but hellaz sexy about this unique piece.
The jewelry I'm wearing is the newest free jewelry gift from Ganked's subscribo. Just can't seem to get enuff of Misti Merryman's bold statement looks; plus these turquoise pieces are marbled + textured so perfectly.
This 2nd look features the new Vive9 skin gift which I think is done really well. There's lots of options in this gift (teeth/no teeth; frex/no frex + various tones) so if you demo this skin + it works well with your shape, the $150L group join fee is totally worth it since this group gives skin gifts on a regular basis. -- There's an innocent yet curious face going on here that I like. Plus if you're into the teeth thing (I kinda go back and forth), the Vive9 teeth skins are some of the cutest.
Finally, y'all might be wondering about the ears + tail since normally I'm not so much a neko style champion. My utterly fabby fashionista friend Linda Mensing found these *M* Friends pretties (you rock gf!) + I just can't tell you how fun these are.
