Summer Showers

There's a rainy day courtyard mini-festival now at itutu, where you can grab some free hygrangeas in various colors. These were so deliciously poofy I just had to slip 'em on as a skirt; some free grape heels by R2 added paintbox color to this look. My new friend Yua Cale reminded me about the IS Design store, where I remembered these fine green rubber duckys from their $30L gatcha.
It's rare for me to find well-made clothes in rich, vibrant greens in RL, so I was excited for this kelly green wrinkled chiffon number by Acid & Mala. I'm also showing the new freaking adorables "Astrid" messy updo by Truth (another supergirlie style that begs for a fresh-faced skin) + a free umbrella stand gift by Y's House, featuring this crouched "mopping up" animation (I was slightly miffed here 'cuz wiping up Gavin's wet stains made me late for Dancing With the Stars -- again!) -- I'm sure he'll find a way to make it up to me. Hehe.

Bears & Breakfast

My bears reminded me that I didn't have anything for breakfast today. Luckily this free eggs & tomatoes bag provided all the morning sustenance I needed.
I've been meaning to blog this new jumper dress by Magic Nook for about a week now since it's supercute; this week's other new "Kalia" floral 'do by Truth offered the perfect fit for some casual summer strollin'.

All the bears cuties here (headband, plant, hand toy) are free to $2L gifties that I spied on mah girl Whisper Despres' blog; the "beary janes" shoes (!) are creator Bit McMillan's creations at her Cute Bytes store (where I get my kawaii fix every now + then).

I've been dying to show you these adorable Bambi-print bags + warm neck wraps (complete with fuzzy bobble tips!) that Tram creator Moca Loup has newly released, just in time for winter snuggliness. (An angel-white version with red ties is yours as a free gift too). *mwuahs Moca Loup*
What I appreciate about Moca's pieces is how cohesively they all work together: like a proper RL collection, her accessories, dresses, etc. are inherently mix 'n match-able. -- Here's the same fur neck wrap + skirt, this time styled with a touch o' color via these $50L cherry boots at Redgrave + a cassette messenger bag that's such a steal for $50L (the bag is texture change; grab the free sculpty Xmas "feast" table here too). A black pixie hair I scooped last week + some awwws free puppy sock mittens by Sweetest Goodbye finished this cold snap-ready gamine look.
