Love Me Some Fake L.V.

Whilst traveling casual, some L.V. print (fake or real), heavy pearls + glossy red lips are never amiss.
I thought this $15L Louis Vuitton print sweater was so pretty falling off the shoulder; I just had to pair the fake L.V. trunk (by House of Fox, at The Arcade) + some sheer dotted tights with it. Plus how cute are these upside-down "flipped" ponys new by Truth? These mini-ponys together with the heavy bangs totally give that "I'm so innocent" vibe too, heh.

And now is when we obsess over the boots.
These double-zipper, gladiator-webbed, little rows of tiny bandaid strips ankle boots are just the stuff of ankle boot fetishes. Dream + I are absolutely obsessed; plus check out the perfectly contoured toe box. We think these comfy wedge ankle boots are tres citysmart (they must be, if 2 city girls approve them for NYC train ridin' -- and if need be, train perv arse-kickin') so we've now become obsessed with finding them in RL. Definitely the best $15L spent so far in the new year!

Springtime Sortie.

So many things to kick off the 1st official day of Spring today: the superluxe pouffy crown updo "Dee" new by Truth (totes channeling one Miss Brigitte Bardot; or perhaps my mind is fresh from reading her killer histoire in Vanity Fair); the "Leah" skin debuting today by Glam Affair (to me, this feels like a softer, younger face for this brand, which I love; plus this pert, not-too-small nose could just be My Fave Nose of All Time); + these absolutely wowza new "Kelsi" stacked platform heels by Indyra Originals (the li'l tassel placed delicately at the back of the ankle is a stroke of detailing brill; in this sherbet pop color, these are my must-haves for "city chic" feets in Springtime). Take a look.
One thing that I always specifically look forward to with every new Glam Affair skin release is the luscious makeups. My fave this time around: lipstick #19 that I'm showing here, i.e. a scrumptious blend of raspberry +"winestain" bordeaux reds. Mmmm delish.
I was also pleased to see the usual haute "editorial" Glam Affair colors (the electric blue, seaweed green + navel orange hues that practically beg for high concept styling) + some particularly elegant mauve shades (both light + dark). -- There's also something about the "Leah" lips that seem more natural than previous releases (the lip shape is just a tad less pouty, perhaps?) Either way, I find this mouth supergorge + definitely worth a demo.

If you do absolutely nothing else this week fashionista-wise, do yourself a favor + grab this week's new utterly windswept, triple-streaked "Tahnee" style by Truth, where you can choose bangs (or not), roots (or not) + 2 separate colors for the side streaks (or not), for tres attitudinal hair that's begging to be styled a la music video vixen.

A Dash o' Winter White & A Smudge o' Coal Black.

My friend and most versatile creator Ayumi Cassini has graciously dropped one of her most beautiful gifts yet on all you Style Academy fashionista readers: these lusciously fluffy, color-change, triple-feather earrings (choose between winter white or coal black for each feather) -- i.e., Ayumi displaying her usual mastery of exquisite details, including the tiny "spine" in each puffy feather -- an impeccably elegant creation that's now yours for $1L. *mwuahs Ayumi Cassini*
My bundled-up look today features more splashes of winter white fitting for the snowy climes ahead, including this dramatic free zebra coat by PurpleMoon Creations + some new 2-tone peeptoes by Mstyle. A smex Truth pony + 2 necklaces added some extra girlie to this serious black 'n white color palette.
In other news, I've fallen in luhs with a few free holiday finds that I thought were 'specially cute. Check out this free "ornaments mobile" silver wireframe tree (the li'l candy canes + gingerbread men actually twirl around!) How cozy to watch while cuddling up to this free flickering fireplace, decked out with pine cone candle stands, a Noel sign + a framed rabbit picture adorned with mistletoe too (I placed the picture in another part of our house).
This gorge free fruit potted plant is only 2 prims; it's yet another gift at the same place you can grab the ornaments tree. This is a great touch of color at a cheap prim cost; I tucked these little potted trees into the brick corners of our home.

As promised, I wanted to show you the newest "Chloe" face by Esuga, featuring superpouty lips, a soft, supergirlie expression + the unique blend of smexeh kawaii that creator Eilfie Sugarplum has become known for. This week's new "Charmaine" bobbypins hair by Truth added perfectly mussed tresses to this winter-ready face.
I couldn't decide which I liked better, the fair or dark tones; either way, this skin's glowy complexion lends a lush, dewy feel, and the detail-ist in moi so appreciates the barely-parted lips option too (I think this wolf was trying to copy my pose here, heh).
Like a big chicken, I've been largely avoiding mesh stuff due to a li'l prob called Still Absolutely Loathing All the Mesh Viewers; still, I forced myself to get over it for this newest free pink uniform by Node, which I cute'd up with some free reindeer ears, a free curious pink cat + these $1L kneepatch leggings.

Minted Geometry and other Visions of Shopping Madness.

This week's new "Blair" style by Truth has become my absolute fave cap hair to date, that is to say, I've been parading around in 1 of these slouchy caps in RL and damn, I wish it was color-change too. *mwuahs Truth Hawks*
I threw together today's look with some other things that I also wish I owned in RL, like this long, 2-tone coat by Teefy that's on sale at the latest TDR + this striped green top by Illusory (which coincidentally played nicely off the architectural lines around me). This pretty pink blush -- echoed in the coral booties + the pink collar necklace below -- is new by Esuga; I'm hoping to show you her pretty new "Chloe" skin soon (whenever I get a RL break already). -- Btw I suspect I did up this pic 'cuz I needed a peaceful shopping scene after my RL descent into utter shopping madness yesterday, i.e. pushing + shoving in the name of fashion at the Rag & Bone sample sale. Heh).
