Don'tcha just hate being bored in school? At least there's time to write mean notes + stuff, hehe.
And in home decor news, you still have time to grab some truly unique finds on the Four Walls hunt (ends on Jan 31). This hunt is extremely well-presented on the official blog here (you can view, pick & choose which gifts you want to grab for $20L apiece). Check out this stunning dresser by Pilot; hockey sticks (those were a nod to G's RL, hehe) + these origami lamps (you get a set of 3 included; they actually switch on/off). The mini-ladder w/ cheerful wall decal (shown in the 2nd pic below) is also a major hunt find (2 separate pose areas featuring multiple poses -- including an animated handstand! -- are all included). The bungalow-esque home itself is also a compact but cute $10L find on another hunt. These kinds of top-notch gifts are precisely why SL remains such a superfun dollhouse to play with re: home interiors. Major RL procrastination this week! Lol.

The newest installment of Collabor88 kicked off yesterday + this month's theme of "literary greats" means oodles of elegant vintage styles. I mix 'n' matched this lace-bodiced top with some fun accessories (neon orange glasses, book charm & cameo necklaces, laurel wreath earrings + even a newspaper) + for this librarian-ish look today. Summer Showers

There's a rainy day courtyard mini-festival now at itutu, where you can grab some free hygrangeas in various colors. These were so deliciously poofy I just had to slip 'em on as a skirt; some free grape heels by R2 added paintbox color to this look. My new friend Yua Cale reminded me about the IS Design store, where I remembered these fine green rubber duckys from their $30L gatcha.
It's rare for me to find well-made clothes in rich, vibrant greens in RL, so I was excited for this kelly green wrinkled chiffon number by Acid & Mala. I'm also showing the new freaking adorables "Astrid" messy updo by Truth (another supergirlie style that begs for a fresh-faced skin) + a free umbrella stand gift by Y's House, featuring this crouched "mopping up" animation (I was slightly miffed here 'cuz wiping up Gavin's wet stains made me late for Dancing With the Stars -- again!) -- I'm sure he'll find a way to make it up to me. Hehe.

Hot Diggity Dog

I was feelin' the whole prissy girlie thing today, so I grabbed this free polka-dot knee-length skirt + free ruffled collar sweater at Honey Kitty (the sweater comes via the new lucky boards; I have no idea if the skirt is old or new, but this demure look was tres fun to style). Some free double-row pearls by Dark Mouse + a free teetering processed meat treat made me think wistfully of ye olde carnival days.
The free Halloween kitty socks are from a mini-hunt at the Mocchi Mochi mini-mall that's kinda perfect for us hunt-challenged folk: basically, there's tons of pumpkins scattered around + 5 of 'em contain gifts (just click on all of them to see which ones you can "buy"). I just luhs brain-dead activities like that.

Drivin' Miss Flapper Girl

Hullo everyone. It's been a minute but I'm so so excited to be blogging again this weekend! *happy dance*I haven't visited the Wave shop in some time + was pleased to see all sorts of new goodies up on the freebie wall. Check out this free feathery pink flapper girl look, just waiting to be plucked from there. (Check out my post here on Free*Style for another "motorcyle girl" look from this amazingly generous store).
These brown leather Courtisane boots are a gift at the Enky's $1L everything store (lotsa cute finds there, including some nice Exile hair). This gorgeous $1L flapper girl hair by IrEn, resplendent with these lovely soft brown curls, is now old news on the feeds but still one of the loveliest grabs at the Accessory Fair hunt (tons more good stuff there; look for black shopping hunt bags that are all free or $1L).
Ya knows I luhs a bit of silliness with my SL, and the RC Cluster store has all kinds of new goodies in its lucky chair. This "Pretend Car" comes with a really cute AO where you "fake drive" while bouncing your head from side to side. ZOMG do I want one of these in RL.
If you're thinking that this bodysuit top is slightly see-thru, well, you would be correct. Hee.
