Black Amber.

Golden + burnt tones, punctuated with just a touch of crimson, can glam up even the dingiest of subway tunnels.
I'm showing the latest "Cassia" skin by Glam Affair, which I'm loving for its just-right touch of knowingness to this lush, polished face; skin connoisseurs will note that the accompanying lipstick set made especially for this skin is 1 of the most complete Glam Affair lipstick sets to date, ranging from subtle mauves and pinks to this exceptional fire-engine red I'm showing here (btw if you haven't yet hit the $15L World Cup hunt at Ricielli, you must scoopie the gold belted + gold studded black leather pants there for $15L -- easily my vote for best steal of the week, I believe it's the #11 soccer ball). Some black amber eyes + accessories, plus these free strawberry nails I can't seem to take off, completed this look.

Love Me Some Fake L.V.

Whilst traveling casual, some L.V. print (fake or real), heavy pearls + glossy red lips are never amiss.
I thought this $15L Louis Vuitton print sweater was so pretty falling off the shoulder; I just had to pair the fake L.V. trunk (by House of Fox, at The Arcade) + some sheer dotted tights with it. Plus how cute are these upside-down "flipped" ponys new by Truth? These mini-ponys together with the heavy bangs totally give that "I'm so innocent" vibe too, heh.

And now is when we obsess over the boots.
These double-zipper, gladiator-webbed, little rows of tiny bandaid strips ankle boots are just the stuff of ankle boot fetishes. Dream + I are absolutely obsessed; plus check out the perfectly contoured toe box. We think these comfy wedge ankle boots are tres citysmart (they must be, if 2 city girls approve them for NYC train ridin' -- and if need be, train perv arse-kickin') so we've now become obsessed with finding them in RL. Definitely the best $15L spent so far in the new year!

The holidays might be over, but we girlie girls can always find a reason to put a smart, body-huggin' party dress to good use. 
This long-sleeved, 2-tone, cuff-detailed number is brand new by Baiastice; a high-gloss red lipstick skin + sleek silver clutch seemed only appropro, and the wedge sequined boots are a $15L find at the Christmas hunt at Ricielli (which for some reason was still happening at least as of yesterday; and for no apparent reason at all, there were literally rows upon rows of $15L cuppycakes just sitting in the room next door). Special *mwuahs* to mah bestie DreamAngel Larnia for making sure I hauled arse over there (you da best gf!)

Quickie retro-styled pic today to show you the newest "Lake" skin by &Bean, plus this dramatic new collar piece by Mood for the Accessories Fair (this blackened bronze texture is really something special). For those in a cheapies hunting mood, there's a new $15L hunt at Ricielli, where I nabbed this strapless bronze & black ruffle top (you can pick the items you want via a handy numbered prize listing out front). -- Btw I learned about this hunt on the store blog section of Style Academy; such a great resource for the latest stuff (including new gifts!) from the grid's A-list designers.
This shot also gives you a better look at the new "Danni" hair by Truth which I just can't seem to take off. These low mini ponys are tres supergirlie + just begging for an innocent, fresh-faced skin to go with. *mwuahs Truth Hawks*

My fave find on the Ricielli hunt were the brassware-adorned orange-nude "Carmelia" pumps; watch for a full look featuring those soon.
