My buddy the Czar was off on one of his frequent partying jaunts (this time: a pre-season soiree in Ibiza), so he invited me to make use of his most posh estate.

Easter Bounty.

And since the annual cornucopia of grid-wide Easter hunts is 1 of the bestest times of the year to scoopie some complementary primo quality home goods, I couldn't let this week go by without showing you some pretty houseware finds -- most of which are yours for the low price of free. -- I mean, deviled eggs. C'mon now!

Winter Pastimes.

Don'tcha just hate being bored in school? At least there's time to write mean notes + stuff, hehe.
And in home decor news, you still have time to grab some truly unique finds on the Four Walls hunt (ends on Jan 31). This hunt is extremely well-presented on the official blog here (you can view, pick & choose which gifts you want to grab for $20L apiece). Check out this stunning dresser by Pilot; hockey sticks (those were a nod to G's RL, hehe) + these origami lamps (you get a set of 3 included; they actually switch on/off). The mini-ladder w/ cheerful wall decal (shown in the 2nd pic below) is also a major hunt find (2 separate pose areas featuring multiple poses -- including an animated handstand! -- are all included). Comfy Casual.

Creator Ikon Innovia's brand-new "Pewter" shade of his latest Eternal eye line is hands-down one of the best dark eyes I have ever seen in SL (and given that I might just own them all, that's actually saying something). A mix of rich, deep indigo and gray, with just a touch of golden flecks, make a mysterious, rich blend, especially together with this lively, realistic shine. Take a look.
And here's the rest of my relaxed look today, featuring this week's new "Cyanne" color-change headband hair by Truth, which I put together with some new comfy casuals like this oversized slouchy sweater by Glam Affair + these gorges new silk pants by Baiastice (check out the flawlessly done "folds" on the pants).
And I couldn't resist a quick shot of some of the Southwestern-themed furniture finds at this month's Collabor88. The dreamcatcher + the cactus planter are so well done, plus isn't this armoire by Zinnia's pretty? I luhs the li'l scissors and fabric rolls, plus I stuffed some (basically) free potted plants into it too.  Can you believe Thanksgiving is around the corner? I'll definitely be in my comfy casuals then.

The Free-est Xmas Ever

There's a supercute event happening at the Cheeky Pea SIM that's perfect for us frugalistas wanting a li'l holiday cheer. Precociously named Mr. Scrooge's Christmas Village, these tiny cabins feature nice-quality items that are nearly all free, from gingerbread cookies to snowmen "scenes." (A few items are not; just check everything before hitting "Buy"). -- This entire table of goodies was free, from the flickering "wreathed" candles to the lonely mittens stewn on the corner. Awwws.

*NOTE TO HUNTERS: The For the Love of . . . Halloween hunt item is a cluster of light & dark fall leaves. This hunt is slightly different in that these are typically not hidden in the store's booth itself (you'll want to search the surrounding landscapes). Also, because the hunt item is made in the same shades of the gray landscape, you'll have to wander around to really look (all items are in the SIM, so it's more like an Easter Egg hunt than a regular hunt). Look Ma, I Got An Owie

For some reason this morning I woke up with owies all over my body. Luckily, one of my go-to smexehgear stores, PARARDISIS, had the perfect solution to that particular prob.

Check out this brand-new naughty lingerie that you can get for free via the PARARDISIS MM board. This bright, cherry red color is way fun + I luhs that one particularly saucy band-aid angled just-so, above one nip (FYI these shots attempt to minimize nipple exposure -- just trying to keep it PG here, hee hee).
There's tiny li'l bandaids dotted thruout this bra, panties + stockings set (even one on the buttie). Just to cover all my owies, I slipped on a previous $50L skin gift from Tyranny Designs which has a cute heart band-aid on the nose + seemed to go with this lingerie perfectly.

The hair I'm wearing is one of the $50L styles currently being offered by Maitreya to aid in the Haiti disaster relief. Not only is this a worthy cause + a fantastic price, but /me always likes the stylish way that Maitreya does their hat hairs: it's like too-cool-for-school meets unmistakeably soft + feminine.

There are 2 hair colors available (blonde + brunette) at $50L each per shade. I'm wearing the blonde version above. The brunette color is below, which I paired with another pretty free Fhang Candy skin (this ruby-red lipped one is a 20-minute camping gift). These dark, arched brows + pouty lips give this pale skin tone a tres glam feel. See how my girl Michi Fhang has got me all wearing these paler skin tones now. *mwuahs Michi*
I paired this look with these fabulous black "Licorice" pumps by Nardcotix. These are one of 3 of this store's ladies' gifts for the Shoes & Accessories Hunt (so generous!) + these patent leather ones normally go for $500L. Love the perfectly-done pointed toe on these + the not-too-shiny shine texture is really top-notch. (There's a supercute red plaid T-strap shoes gift here that's also very much worth snatching).
There's also a new free 10-minute subscribo group camping gift at my beloved U&R Dogs which I wanted to quickly show you (even tho' I couldn't get in to camp for it until after I took these shots). These narrow gold hoops w/ tiny found beaded jewels dangling off the bottom are so perfect for when you just wanna add a touch of yellow gold or color to cap off a look. As always, this store excels at detail, like this tiny ring of diamonds looped around the center. Now I realize that it's only Wednesday, but it's never too early in the week to enjoy a quiet zen moment. Check out this unique "karma pool" that you can win for free in the Cheeky Pea MM board.
