Season of the Shark

Experienced hunters look forward to the Seasons Hunt for its A-list goodiefest of loot; I also find that 1 of the best things about this particular hunt is bumping into people you know (including many other bloggers) doin' the scoopies thing too.
I was excited to run into 2 Flickr friends (+ fellow bloggers), Lisbeth Gummibaum + Katx Kirax, whilst nabbing these goodies; here's some quick pics showing my finds from today, including this Vive9 casual "slouchy pockets" dress in a summery sunshiney hue, a baguette-stuffed basket bike (sadly, no riding animation included!) + these hi-rise, retrofab hotpant shorts by The Secret Store that everyone's been pervin' hard on Flickr.

Black & White & Affection All Over

Who can forget Carrie from Sex & The City in this black & white striped, giant floral top? She rocked it somethin' fierce. -- I have a permanent fondness for that show since my RL jewelries guested there a few times. In other news, Ricielli creator Fhara Acacia has put together some scrumptious stiletto ankle boots that remind me of my own in RL (mine are all black tho'). -- I luhs this Prada-like, smexeh take on men's Oxfords; the 2-tone contrasting textures are tha yumz, from the beautifully baked leather + teeny tiny gold rivets to the rounded-pointy boot shape + itty bitty platform on the bottom.

Shopping for Christmas.

Introductions aside, I have some news. One of my favorite hair stores, Fab-U-lous released some new hair today and I'm wearing one of the styles below. I just heard that PARALLEL LOVE is closing on the 20th and when I went there, everything was 20L or 30L for the closing sale! I recommend you go here before it closes. Finally, Alphavillain is part of 50L Friday this week, with a new top and glasses that I loved so I nabbed them up. Somehow, this ended up looking like I was shopping for Christmas.

On Christmas Pig-ishness & Coal

I've been blogging the cutie patootie critters from Stray Pig 'cuz they be So. Effin'. Cute. + now creator YonYon Yip has organized a hunt for everyone to enjoy. 5 Christmas pigs (dressed up in festive Santy Claus gear) are hidden thruout the SIM; this ridic cute deer bed (where you can snuggle with Bambi) is 1 of the prizes.
