Whip It Good!

OK so . . . some of the Modavia gifts are out; you kinda gotta wander the main courtyard + click around. In each of the designers' displays, you'll see the same little sign to join the Modavia Fashion Marketing (MFM) group for $0L; if there's a gift, it will likely be located just underneath or nearby (often displaying each brand's logo); make sure you're wearing the MFM group tag to click. The gloves/hat I'm showing were $1L, but the other gifts were free; generally speaking, only the designers who have already shown their collections have gifts out now (you can see the show schedule on any of the signs displayed nearby).
What I like most about Fashion Week (RL or SL) is the opportunity to push fashion into high concept. This was why I really liked this unusual riding crop free gift, i.e., something that's not necessarily just "fashion" but versatile enough for other uses. This crop didn't really "go" with this look, but I had to show it to ya (you can even control it via a handy "Whip Menu," lol).

A frosting-like, "swirled" hair felt fitting to adorn this cuppycake-topped hat for today's Marie Antoinette-inspired look, which I built around this $10L bustle frame skirt gift by Sn@tch. -- Plus isn't this chained handheld birdcage prop so exquisite? Poolside

As promised, here's another flavor of the Tram long shirt coats, this time in a farmgirl friendly red checkered print, which I paired with the gorges free white lace bodysuit from Diapop + some free white fishnets. -- This wasn't a poolside practical ensemble per se, but it worked just fine for some quality (blue Slurpee) time with Gavin. Heh.
I've been diggin' this new tomoto-red lipped "Circus" skin by MonS that I spied on the creator's Flickr, which I found tres jolie with this new, messy bangs "Cecilia" side braid by Truth.
