Bubblegum Horizons

So . . . I was all set for a nice li'l break from recent Flickr challenges when I spotted my Flickr buddies popping up in some crazy pink and blue hair; naturally, I had to investigate. -- A girlie girl blogger challenge? Using oh-so-tasty, artificial "bubblegum" hair colors? As if I could resist! Le grrrr.
The new "Astrid" hair by Truth was perfect for this challenge, since it's messy, playful poofyness was begging for some kawaii color. Some fabby striped wedges that are unbelievably free by R2, new denim shorts by The Plastik + these deliciously melty ice pops by Ag (another Flickr find) + I was all set for some quality chlorine time.
Yeah, it's a party in mah pants. -- Just kidding G! Hehe.
And here's some rather exciting news: creator Xanadu Capelo has placed her brand-new, freakin' adorables "Pacific Skies" pose series out at Flasher for the crazy price of $1L (!) Meet Elly

Pink Fuel creator Mochi Milena is debuting 3 new "Elly" skins at the upcoming CHIC Management Culture Shock event that I wanted to show you here. I paired these with 3 new Maitreya hair releases, which I must note are some of my absolute. fave. to date -- basically 'cuz I'm a sucker for tiny details like these soft mini-braids, intricate falling "folds" of hair + natural flyaway pieces. *double mwuahs Mochi Milena + Onyx LeShelle*
This colorful "Cotton Candy" makeup is quintessential Mochi, with candy pink + sky blue colors lighting up the eye area. Plus the body on these skins is the usual glowy yummieness.
I also love how the Pink Fuel lips are "wet" but not overly so; there's just a touch of gloss, lending a luscious, yet totally natural, feel. Luhs the smudgy eyes on this "Candied" line too; I'm showing the dark brows version here, which was just lovely with this new windswept "Jordyn" hair.
Check out this "Gloom" series, featuring smoky eye makeup + a ribbon of hot red-pink underlining the eyes, which I loved framed by these heavy bangs. -- And O, how I heart this hair. This ridic hawt "Lara" style, featuring a coy li'l braid falling to the side here, feels oh so girlie yet utterly bedroom-ready. Some Art Deco Donna Flora jewels + I'm ready for . . . my big date with Jerseylicious. Heh.
