O My Hair!

One of my favorite events of the year, Hair Fair 2012, has kicked off + there are oodles of goodies to shop. The build is roomy + spacious, making for plenty of easy browsing; plus like last year, a percentage of every hair pack at Hair Fair 2012 goes to Wigs for Kids, so you can spend those hard-earned $L for a selfless purpose!
I'm not sure what it is about summertime (and this summer in particular) but I've been digging anything au naturel lately (probably due to stressful RL workstuffs + having to dress up daily now, bah). -- That being said, when I saw these gorges mesh styles by Logo with nothing too fancy, just natural-looking hair splits + natural volume up in the crown and along the shoulder -- and with such realistic texturing -- I had show you how these just totally fit my breezy summer mood.

Pale Lips Sink Ships.

Some looks for you today that I shot last weekend (due to @#$!% RL have not been able to post until today), showing some lovely things from the new Collabor88 + the One Voice shopping event. Amongst my faves: these black leather shorts (!) by Tokodoki, these fabby thick-striped (the fat stripes are key) new stilettos by N-Core; this gorges nude keyhole minidress by Kyoot (which I loved with this edgy feathered "ear cuff" by Magic Nook); a sweet red cherries drawstring dress (on pink, yay!) dressed up with layers of strung necklaces; plus check out this sweet floral print dress by Baiastice, which is so flirty + perfect for hot days. Ahhh, summer!
Btw all of these feature new-ish skins with pale lip tones, which I think is tres appropro for summer. I'm particularly liking this nude-lipped redo of the "Elena" Laq skin at One Voice, featuring lush, full lips + a wide-eyed innocence in the face.

Shark Tales.

When I picked up the new free baby shark at d-lab, I had no idea it had so many friends. -- Or how sorely they were in need of some flippin' house training.
Luckily the newest free striped slip-ons by Pivaaca (how great are these? I think they're for men, but they resize in a snap) + some free spiky cuffs kept me safe from these bitey li'l guys. -- I'm also showing some new pieces by The Plastik, Izzie's and Teefy; the gorges braided hair below was new by Truth last week. -- Plus how beachy are these golden sandcastle earrings? Colorplay.

Ricielli creator Fhara Acacia's newest pieces capture the breezy, carefree feel of blissful summer days. Think bright colorblocked V-necks (dipped deliciously low) + billowing silk shorts (perfectly captured in flowy mesh); the newest mesh hairs by Truth, including this gorges long bangs "Bella" style, added extra sultry oopmh to these looks.
These opaque gem rings are sooo something I would wear in RL -- and new + on sale, and totally worked with this vibrant color palette. Love!
No summer would be complete without a maxi dress, and I'm loving this new flowy black one by Baiastice, which oozes elegance with layered ruffles. Black bangles added a monochromatic touch; crimson lips + nails supplied the only splashes of color.
Hopefully y'all grabbed these fabby blood-red eyes from the IKON VIP group Notices (not sure if the group is still free to join). -- Been watching too much True Blood lately, heh (was anyone else laffing at that grumpy yet super useless Law & Order guy? Come on!)
