And in the true holiday spirit of over-indulgence in sweet treats, I couldn't resist this pretty crepes maker by The Secret Store, which I scoopied whilst doing the hunt at Inspiration Point. You get both the crepes maker (which comes w/ handy tools) and this scrumptious chocolate-drizzled crepe for a measly $100L; now if only one like this cost so little in RL, hehe. -- I couldn't resist piling on more yummies (many of which were previously free finds) to concoct the ultimate DIY-style fantasy crepes & waffles station (I suspect the kitty had a good time, too).

Cuddly Comforts.

The latest round of home decor items from Apple Fall at The Arcade feel a bit personal to me, as they are named after the particular 'hood in London (Mayfair) where I briefly sojourned (many moons ago). Think white marble floors & black wooden fireplaces; crown moldings and cool white tile; all paired with pewter-toned clocks, lamps and frames -- all of which feel just as aesthetically crisp & haute as I remember that picture-perfect area in my memories.

Bite The Hand That Feeds You.

And since I'm always wondering what my pup thinks of me (as a silly, useless human), I thought I would put together some of this month's Arcade items to postulate precisely that. Hehe.



Actually all of these goodies came to me via an extremely useful new SL discovery for all us gatcha fanatics: The Arcade - Gatcha Events group. This is actually the official event group; you just IM Marianne McCann for chat rights (to IM in the group cat) and start firing away what you want. --  I actually found reading the group rules extremely helpful beforehand (especially the "buyer beware"-type warnings re: exchanging trade items -- which listed a few pitfalls that definitely would not have occurred to me on my own) and this amazing sleeping puppy bed rare came my way, within hours of being in the group! So, if you ever find yourself caught up in the oh-so-fun evilness of gatcha (sob), and need to unload some stuff, try this group before you swear off gatcha forevs (note that this group is for trades only, not sales -- but I did notice that you'll sometimes find folks willing to just give items away if they have no use for them). So there ya go -- my SL tip of the day!
