Easter Bounty.

And since the annual cornucopia of grid-wide Easter hunts is 1 of the bestest times of the year to scoopie some complementary primo quality home goods, I couldn't let this week go by without showing you some pretty houseware finds -- most of which are yours for the low price of free. -- I mean, deviled eggs. C'mon now!
This scrumptiously-textured, wooden-slat patio furniture set by Hanaya is currently yours for the free taking at Old Europe's black umbrella hunt (the chairs are copy, so you get as many as you want; the table is resizeable as well); plus how cute are these eggs with chicken feet (here, enjoying their own eggs, hehe), framed rabbit print w/ fluffie cottontail + adorbs pink frosted layer cake w/ a li'l yellow chickadee on top (this cake even gives you a plated slice of cake + a fork)! -- As you can probably tell, I had way too much fun decorating this table; btw I need to thank creator Fhara Ricielli for encouraging her customers to turn on "Advanced Lighting Model" for her new "fitted meshes" (more on that later; but if you use Firestorm, you can find this lighting feature under "Develop," then "Rendering"). -- Helllooo softer, more realistic shadows! En Provence.

This month's "Watercolors In Bloom" theme at Collabor88 is turning out to be way fun: I couldn't resist taking yet another pastoral stroll today, this time in this gorges 1-piece dress featuring a muted floral print (which truly looks like a wearable canvas, I might add), impeccably done by Maitreya. Some paintbox lavendar + sea green rose charm necklaces by Yummy, a free woven rattan bag + the newest shoulder-length "April" style by Truth (complete with a regal braid adorning the crown + even a color-change bird clip!) made my countryside mood complete.
And in other news, hi-drama, feathery lashes are just the thing to make a girl runway-ready.
Many moons ago, I spent some time living in the French countryside, so it's always nice to go "home," even if purely in style (I still dream about cassis glace. . . . Mmmm).

Idyllic Spring.

It's been a minute since Gavin + I have switched up our abode, so the new beachy-ready windmill build at Collabor88 was the perfect reason to start dreaming of ocean waves + breezier climes. We were actually just browsing the airy, loft-like homes at Scarlet Creative the other day, so it was such a lovely surprise to see this modern brand participating in Collabor88 this round!
The 2nd floor has a cool li'l reading nook that I thought was perfect for some stargazing (also known in NYC as neighbor-peeping, i.e., a perfectly respectable pastime for us urbanites).
Gavin likes to mention how much animals love him, so naturally, it wasn't long before some loveable strays decided to take up residence near the watermelons. That middle black one "Scar" was definitely the ringleader; for some reason, he kept on biting and scratching G, hehe.
And a view from up top, near the windmill blades. There's a small walkway here offering a tranquil spot for a bench repose, near some tomato-red geraniums + a huge expanse of Springtime sky.
