Ponys & Sparklies.

Mr. Truth Hawks has been extremely generous this week, giving us his new "Bunny" double ponys style for free (in the fatpack!) that I blogged here + this gorges mesh "Twila" mini-ponys updo, featuring low side-parted bangs + longer, lush pieces that trail down the bodice.
I'm also showing you the newest "Horizon" eyes by Ikon in this warm dark brown color, which remind me of milky chocolate (it's hard to find pretty dark eyes on the grid + these are notably pretty). Continuing with more "French New Wave"-themed pieces from this month's new Collabor88, I immediately noticed this ultragirlie new pink miniskirt outfit by Tres Blah, which I loved with these tongue-in-cheek pastel pink Eiffel Tower earrings by Intrigue Co. + some free chunky metallic bangles. -- Plus isn't this free sparkly cuppycakes wand tres fun? I added it just 'cuz.

Intentionally Spring.

The weather has returned to freezing here in NYC, so I couldn't resist countering with a li'l boho Springtime style. A ribboned top by Celoe (that's already made the blog rounds 10x over); some burnt orange stilettos (still my fave to date, the ubiquitous Baby Ts) + 2 of the 3 new gorges styles by Truth this week (a '60s shortie headband "Kalle" updo + this longer, tousled, utterly smex mesh "Savina" style) inspired this no-fuss, casual girlie look today.
I hadn't yet visited the 100% mesh Mayfair SIM, so when I grabbed this free Celoe top, I was in for a treat. What I actually found most striking were the store interiors themselves: crammed with RL details like stepladder bookshelves, tiny recessed lighting along the floor (casting the prettiest of shadows) + even RL dressing rooms (mirrors! clothes racks! "boyfriend" waiting chairs!), there were many rich visuals to Ohhh & Ahhh at. The 1st pic above was taken in the posh upstairs at Celoe; the dressing room (complete with tiny security camera!) was at Mon Tissu. Take a look.

The big frugalista to-do this weekend is the Euphoria Lag Monster hunt, offering some nice gifties already flooding the feeds. ~ღ~And now a quick RL fashion tidbit to my RL fashion-obsessed readers (for anyone who's interested): So in my own RL designer happenings, I just took a "deskside" meeting yesterday with the Jewelry Editor of a front rack fashion/celebrity news magazine, to show her my RL jewelry designs (I do this from time to time for my jewelry line, with various fashion magazines). We had a li'l chat about Fashion Week just ending (really, 2 weeks here in NYC) + her (very insider) takeaway trends for Spring 2011 (for any non-Fashion Week folk, all the shows now were showing looks for Spring 2011) were as follows:

- Slouchy, high-waisted long pants. '70s revival. You have to wear "with a super high heel." (Personally I really hate these).
- Knee-length or tea-length (mid-calf) skirts. (So not the most flattering for shorter people btw).
- For right now (Fall 2010), camel is THE color for Fall. (Very excited that my too adorables furry camel purse is in again).
- For Spring 2011, a light "sky" blue + some pretty neutrals were showing. The bright orange thing (which appeared on a few runways during Fashion Week) is hopefully like, whatever.

"Of course," said this lovely Editor, "we will have to wait to see what happens on the European runways to know all the trends for sure." I just luhs getting the inside tips, so just thought I'd share! XD xoxo
