3 Slip Dresses + Pork Chop: The Plastik's "Bordello" + Hyper Culture's "Senorita"

I have a thing for minidresses. Kinda a big thing. Therefore I was way excited to see that one of my go-tos for smexeh minidresses, The Plastik, has an exquisite new slip dress out called the "Bordello," which of course I had to scoop in a couple of colors.
The "Bordello" is just scrumptious. I love you forever The Plastik for such superfine details: these lush, velvety scrolling textures; the fluid way that these patterns curl + wind sumptuously over the torso; the semi-faded lace skirt edging; and these rich color combos that you just wanna gobble up. I. Die.
I was also impressed with the superfine quality of Hyper Culture's Mix & Mingle Hunt gift and wanted to try another style from this store. One of their newest slip dresses, the "Senorita," instantly grabbed me for its naughty half-lingerie, half-dress design. The slip dress style is not the easiest thing to get right (i.e., the tendency is to overstep the sexy) but this dress absolutely nails it. The thick lace strips on the bodice are just-right-revealing + the effect of the darker black lace textures laid against the sheer black covering is just lovely.
The "Senorita" dress is striking on its own, but it also totally works as part of an ensemble. Here I paired it with one of my hands-down fave new tops, this sheer striped chiffon blouse from Pink Outfitters. See how the addition of this versatile top instantly changes this look into something demure and preppy-snooty? My sexy schoolteacher glasses + retro flapper girl hair just had to make an appearance for this outfit.
These shots were taken in-world at Le Chat Gris, an adorable cafe by creator Nikita Weymann. (Nikita's free "reading poufe" gift has been all over the blog circuit this week -- touch the group join sign on the wall to join the group for $0L + then the sign above to get the pretty cushion seat with reading animation -- but I think that her lovely cafe is the real gem). You totally feel transported to a New Orleans coffeehouse + there's a relaxed, homey feel that makes you want to linger. You can almost smell the java + cigarettes.
Nikita has built-in poses hidden around her cafe like little secrets waiting to be discovered. This pretty reading bench outside was just one example (hint: click the shadows).
Be sure to try the jam jar inside for some supercute sits. I did a whoopsie when my bootay slipped unexpectedly into the sticky jam here.
Gavin and I felt very lucky to be able to meet Pork Chop, Nikita's brand-new kitty. Isn't he a cutie patootie? Pork Chop blinked a lot and seemed quite innocent, but we sensed that he might be a troublemaker in the making. For example, Pork Chop refused to participate in our hairstyles debate and then we caught him giving Nikita's pet monkey the stink-eye (we couldn't tell whether he was jealous or maybe considering dinner).
Nikita also showed us a lovely garden down the road, which was just bursting with gorgeous country blooms. Gavin was inspired to try a gentlemanly pose here. Isn't he gallant?
I pretended that Gavin's T-shirt referred strictly to some hot chicken soup that just needed cooling.

Christmas in Leather, With Discerning Reindeer

I realize that it's not even Thanksgiving yet, but as everyone knows, the end of Halloween signals . . . the next commercially viable holiday! Today BluestarRUI Villota sent out a notice about the new Love*Soul Christmas store, which turned out to be an enchanting place. Fluttering snowflakes, button-eyed reindeer, $1L gifts . . . what better way to leap (early) onto the inevitable holiday bandwagon?
This black strappy leather jacket might not be traditional winter gear, but it's sure smexeh. It was also free courtesy of Luna's Boutique's MM board. This group-only MM board changes often + the count is typically very low (like, 20) so there's guaranteed quality time with Lag Monster every time you go. So totally worth it tho'. Love the asymmetrical buckles straps going across the bodice + waist.
These black satin ballet platforms at Maitreya called my name. When I saw them, I was all, Homina homina homina come to mama. (Fashionistas -- you know what I'm talkin' about). These were a 'natch with the ballerina lace-up ribbon socks from Noju, which come with a pretty 3-D shadowing effect.
Here I am with my new reindeer friends. I tried a sexy pose or two, but they were just too cool for school. I suppose if you're a Santa's reindeer, you've pretty much seen it all. I mean nothing seemed to faze these guys. Even my booty pose left them totally unaffected.
I did blow them a kiss or two tho'. You can't tell here, but they really warmed up a lot after that.
I must've won them over 'cuz they even let me hold their babies. Twins! Teeny golden bells! Cheek blush that goes over fur! Awwww. *faints, dies*
My new reindeer bff Rudy even let me hop on for a li'l flying ride. Here I was trying out a coupla riding positions. Unfortunately when it comes right down to it, there's no easy way to rock a fashion pose on a moving reindeer.
My new reindeer crew wanted to meet some of my human friends, so 2 of my fave people on the grid, Gavin McGinnis + Dorothy Button, dropped in for some sleigh posing action. How gorgi does Dorothy look in this furry snow princess hat? She slays the smexeh glasses look like no other.
On the other hand, this is moi in glasses. Not quite as hot, eh? And these were some really cute ones that my friend Linda Mensing found for only $15L too. Gavin suggested I wear them whenever I need to pretend to stay awake. Perfect for RL conference calls.

Strumpet Mode

I was innocently strolling around the grid when my friend Rene Caerndow spotted me + called me a "tasty strumpet." According to Rene, the term "strumpet" means "like a sassy tart, but cuter" in (the Queen's) English. Lord love the British.

Here's what I was wearing that day, plus 3 other strumpet-y dresses, tattoos + jewelry looks that are nearly all free or $1L. And the background? Just the free kick-ass photo studio group gift from Lithium. Love!
This free purple minidress from LP Design is so fierce. The silver stitching detail + "open heart" buttie cutout (rimmed with cherry red) is just too much. In a good way. In the words of RL stylist supreme Rachel Zoe, I die.This much exposed skin screams for hawtie tats, and I remembered this striking freebie back tattoo from Cyanide. The thigh gun is the former I>3 Rien lucky board tattoo gift; there's an Ace card and gun on the thigh + the words "Power Doll" etched across the tummy. I totally heart sassy tattoos.

This black dress by Hyper Culture is one of the best finds on the Mix & Mingle Hunt (which ends today so hurry if you haven't grabbed it yet). I agree with Rene that the just-peeking-out buttie (from underneath the lace edges here) is very strumpet indeed.
The black canvas of this dress really makes your skin + eyes pop, and I have fallen in luuurve my new fave eye store: Negoposi. It is such a gem for anyone who loves shiny, glowy, luminous eyes like moi. And get this: all eyes are $30L each. Amazing! There are some really cool freebies/$1L gifts at the Designer's United II showcase (the dark "crow" theme is so lovely), like these $1L Djinn & Tonic earrings: check out the teeny tiny crow dangling from each oval faceted stone. Keeping it casual is a must when trolling the grid so I slipped on SoReal's meticulously detailed sneaks, which might just be the the absolute perfect carnation pink. The level of detailed texturing on these sneakers is simply eye-popping. (For me, SoReal does for sneakers what BAX does for boots: sets the standard to beat for super-realistic textural detail). Finally, I've been wearing these $1L tough-girl finger tapes by Luck Inc. to smex up everything.
Strumpet? I'll give you strumpet. *smooches Rene*These sexy, slouchy Miel socks + the fun Sey pumpkin handbag had me at first glance, so I gladly jumped on the orange-and-black bandwagon and created this look to go with. This triple mini-pumpkin ring is so adorable, and I also adore the mini candy corn earrings. It's a bit hard to tell from this pic, but the skirt on this striped Solange dress is really unique: the skirt is made of individual "feather"-like pieces that flutter out when you move. So pretty, especially with this unique "white ink" tattoo. Here's the black and gold version of the same SoReal sneaks too.
All this orange put me in a contrary mood, so I donned some silvery rocker hair + other silver stuffs. This shaggy 'do is just as suuuupaflexi as it looks.
Atomic's pumpkin hunt is giving away some gorges skins, but their bat tattoo gift is also supacool. I matchy-matchy'ed it with this Alyssa Bijoux bat charm necklace. And these free furry black booties with stiletto heels are just darling, especially with black slouchy sox.Back to the free Lithium photo studio for a sec: this thing is so awes. The graffiti backgrounds are tres smex and it comes with props boxes that you can move around. It also comes with 4 poses, but my boo Gavin McGinnis and I were having fun playing around with the Diesel Works Halloween gift (a super generous collection of past poses gifts), including some naughty couples poses. Here's Gavin and I proving once and for all that there's nothing sexier than sprawling out on barrels full o' toxic chemical laxatives.
Gavin won this "SHOW ME YOUR BEWBS" T-shirt from the Atomic lucky chair and thought it was funny. Personally, I was reminded of the signs that shirtless dudes liked to raise above their heads while clutching beer and shouting things at girls while zooming by in pickup trucks. On the freeway. In Arizona.My "Spidey-sense" tells me that I'll be embracing my strumpet identity often from now on. Thanks Rene! You da best gf. -- Oh and what's that I hear 'bout London?
