Yuletide Fair

The summer munchies are easily satisfied by all the prim foodz treats lately; this scrumptious free watermelon salad took care of today's fruit cravings nicely.
Summer refreshments love + fashionista kisses to all!
A free floral purse by Mocha, some free Epoque heels, pretty pearl jewelry + this heavy bangs, satin-ribboned hair recently released by Wasabi Pills finished this supergirlie look. -- Btw if you haven't yet scoopied any of The Seasons Hunt gifts you've wanted, it's ending soon-ish (on the 30th), so best to get your hunt on now-ish.
I've been unable to take off this new Ugly Duck "Babette" skin, mostly 'cuz it so closely resembles a serene china doll's face (the carefully-pursed lips are exquisite). -- I also noticed that on such a pale skin tone, dark lipsticks totally affect how "mature" the skin feels; this would be so fun to style with darker looks as well.
This zebra look is a li'l matchy-matchy, but that was my mood today (plus how perfect are these free Sheer zebra tights with these boots)? Some chunky turquoise jewelry + the newest gold 'n feather accessories by Glow Studio spruced things up a bit. -- See what I mean about this lipstick? Luhs.
The watermelon slice in the 1st pic + this lusciously textured tub of floating watermelons, tomatoes + beer are both free, courtesy of mah girl Canue Glazner, who's put a ridic number of free gifts in the Notices of her +9 group. The free wearable watermelon slice also comes with a cute woodchuck-like nom nom-ing animation that's tres perfect for those summer munchies.
Rawrrry love + fashionista kisses to all!

Full styling credits can be seen on the Le.Look! blog; huge *mwuahs* to the inimitable Strawberry Singh for so graciously inviting me to this lovely fashionista challenge. Electric underground love + fashionista kisses to all!
I'm also showing some brand-new pieces from the Glow Studio summer collection (including these fabby feather necklace + earrings, freakin' fantastic feather ring + sumptuously thick lashes), the latest flowey headband "Lacey" hair by Truth + a pretty new "Babette" skin by mah girl Fade Lei for her Ugly Duck skin line (glowy skin fans, this one's for you), all of which glammed up this casual look a notch or three. -- I have no idea why my free cuppycake friends were so upset; maybe 'cuz they knew their tasty selves were gonna be eated soon. Mmmm.
O Roscoe's, you're never far from my heart. Chicken 'n waffles love + fashionista kisses to all!
Dearest readers,
Since all of this coincides with my own RL birfday weekend, I also just wanna say -- O Happy Weekend! + Cheers to another SLexy year!

It's also fun when the various gifts work together, and I thought this free red ribbon belt by u.f.o. paired nicely with these free '50s-esque Kyoot pants; a free sherbety-striped, classic folk guitar lent its own retrofab touch.
(Elate!) - Sunny Rose Ring - previously free
I adore half-up, half-down styles (you get to show off your jewels and smex it up a bit) + this coy new "Bree" over-the-shoulder, low ponys style results in a tres flirtatious look. -- You can easily see why the draping is exceptional on this "Athena" garment; you even get a full set of shell jewelry included (bracelets, necklace +this conch shell headband!), which makes accessorizing a snap.
This bouncy "Lacey" headband hair is a way smex take on the traditional headband style; perhaps it's the way these longer front hair pieces drape suggestively over the bodice. -- Speaking of draping, these sideswept folds on this new "Leona" dress beautifully suggest sensual movement; a particularly pronounced effect in rich, deeper colors like this va-va-va-voom cherry red.
I was excited to run into 2 Flickr friends (+ fellow bloggers), Lisbeth Gummibaum + Katx Kirax, whilst nabbing these goodies; here's some quick pics showing my finds from today, including this Vive9 casual "slouchy pockets" dress in a summery sunshiney hue, a baguette-stuffed basket bike (sadly, no riding animation included!) + these hi-rise, retrofab hotpant shorts by The Secret Store that everyone's been pervin' hard on Flickr.
Special *mwuahs* to Dorothy Button for braving the lag (+ my hunt-challenged self) to keep me + the sharks company (we all really missed you, Huntmaster G)!
