Felidae Et Equus

Leopard and zebra prints in the latest BAX animal print boots (released earlier this month) + this week's new Truth hairs (both long-ish and lioness-like) inspired these 2 rawrrry looks today.
I've been unable to take off this new Ugly Duck "Babette" skin, mostly 'cuz it so closely resembles a serene china doll's face (the carefully-pursed lips are exquisite). -- I also noticed that on such a pale skin tone, dark lipsticks totally affect how "mature" the skin feels; this would be so fun to style with darker looks as well.
This zebra look is a li'l matchy-matchy, but that was my mood today (plus how perfect are these free Sheer zebra tights with these boots)? Some chunky turquoise jewelry + the newest gold 'n feather accessories by Glow Studio spruced things up a bit. -- See what I mean about this lipstick? Luhs.
The watermelon slice in the 1st pic + this lusciously textured tub of floating watermelons, tomatoes + beer are both free, courtesy of mah girl Canue Glazner, who's put a ridic number of free gifts in the Notices of her +9 group. The free wearable watermelon slice also comes with a cute woodchuck-like nom nom-ing animation that's tres perfect for those summer munchies.

R2 Me Too

Creator Rei2 Aya passed me the cutest new "Pumehana" ankle booties, which I just had to show you here. This bootie features a teeny side buckle + the front section"rounds" to a metal-tipped toe, a detail which I find totally adorable. There's full-bright (and non) options as well. *mwuahs Rei2 Aya*
I'm also wearing these cute free ruffled pantaloons, some free striped tights by Sheer + the new "Allegra" hair by Truth, featuring this elegant half-updo side bun. A classic camel Tram purse + some chunky $1L pastel cuffs by Boom added a splash of color.

My friends over at Redgrave sent the most beautiful things my way this week, like this absolutely divine new "Zuri" skin. In a world obsessed with the teeny tiny nose, I love how this skin embraces a realer vision of beauty. Siren red lips, sultry makeup + a speckling of frex make this skin supersmex. I'm also showing the free G Field floral halter that everyone + their mother has already blogged + for good reason: this top is sooo feminine. This new "Marnie" Truth hairstyle, featuring these dyed feathered pieces that prettily frame the face, inspired this bad-girl after hours look, which is really all about hair + the accessories. The spectacular zebra tights I'm wearing are free by Sheer + my long elbow gloves, complete with a disco-y silver shimmery texture, came to me free via the SD Wears MM board. My free waist-scrunched tank top is the latest Miamai subscribo gift (there's um, an interesting saying on the back) + I'm also showing the white anklet socks version of those crazy Pixel Mode "Baby Ts" stilettos that I'm in love with.
Speaking of shoes, the Redgrave folks have been busy. Creator Viola Leigh just debuted these "Madonna" ankle boots this week + they are so sweet. Check out this lush "Nacre" color (I must say that as a RL jewelry designer, I so totally died for this color name -- "nacre" is the name of the natural oyster essence + shimmery coating which renders pearls luminescent). This double zipper detail trailing thruout this shoe makes me want these in RL. *mwuahs Viola Leigh*
The dress I'm showing with these shoes is the latest free MNK*Shop group gift, which is really worth a scoop: this sheer, summery ruffle dress, i.e. girlish style executed to perfection. I'm also showing a fri.day hair (one of many I scooped recently) which has been jam-packed due to the crazy sale they are having there (the hairs I saw were $75L each). The entire freaking store is on sale, so every fashionista + their mother has been trying to get in. Erm, good luck. Heh.
