Dodgy Shopping Day

I decided to kick off the week with some shopping of a more, um, personal nature.
You still have time to grab this free tongue in cheek (er, nottie) gift today at Concrete Flowers (the bag "sheds" dirty magazines + condoms as you walk). Just make sure ya don't carry it around any dark alleys like I did. *skulks around, gives nervous glances*

These awes ripped argyle tights are also free + a real find (they're ripped in several places + supercute); I don't usually wear tartilicious skirts like this one, but this free mini by Blow-Up seemed to fit this vibe (make sure to grab the superfun fatpack of free animated lollis there too). The unmatched ruffle boots are an oldie but goodie $1L grab at Enky's + the hair is worth mentioning since Amacci is currently selling all styles in the bright "Crazy" color pack for a mere $35L (this is such a great way to try out new styles + play with colors that you wouldn't normally wear). Hot Diggity Dog

I was feelin' the whole prissy girlie thing today, so I grabbed this free polka-dot knee-length skirt + free ruffled collar sweater at Honey Kitty (the sweater comes via the new lucky boards; I have no idea if the skirt is old or new, but this demure look was tres fun to style). Some free double-row pearls by Dark Mouse + a free teetering processed meat treat made me think wistfully of ye olde carnival days.
The free Halloween kitty socks are from a mini-hunt at the Mocchi Mochi mini-mall that's kinda perfect for us hunt-challenged folk: basically, there's tons of pumpkins scattered around + 5 of 'em contain gifts (just click on all of them to see which ones you can "buy"). I just luhs brain-dead activities like that.

Bouquet, Si Belle

Donna Flora is offering some of the prettiest new designs at the Jewelry Fair 2010 that kicks off today, like this absolutely exquisite "Bouquet" necklace that I just had to show you.
This couture piece is crammed with scrumptious textures: silk flowers set against velvet textured leaves (!), accompanied by an easy color-change HUD. I personally love chokers styled like a jewelry "collar": there's something so elegant about a thick cluster of blooms fitting so closely around the neck, set off by a triple rope of round pearls that drapes down into the cleavage. R2 Me Too

Creator Rei2 Aya passed me the cutest new "Pumehana" ankle booties, which I just had to show you here. This bootie features a teeny side buckle + the front section"rounds" to a metal-tipped toe, a detail which I find totally adorable. There's full-bright (and non) options as well. *mwuahs Rei2 Aya*
I'm also wearing these cute free ruffled pantaloons, some free striped tights by Sheer + the new "Allegra" hair by Truth, featuring this elegant half-updo side bun. A classic camel Tram purse + some chunky $1L pastel cuffs by Boom added a splash of color.

Rei2 has released another new bootie style, which you can currently scoop for 50% off at the Love Soul Halloween wagon sale (deets follow in the Styling Credits below). My fave of these is this warm yellow-orange color; love the floppy gold ribbon detail too (this muted gold color works so well against this faded citrus hue).
