Hair Fair 2014: Gazelled.

And yet another style from Hair Fair 2014, this time in the form of long, sultry locks with just a bit o' twisties at the top crown, pulled back and bangless, perf for summer. Colorclash.

This week's 2 new Truth styles shown below offer your choice of a dramatic "pouffe" updo bun (that I find very fashionista) + this beautiful half-up, longer style that's so handy for showing off earrings. Plus you get this puffy crown area resting just above the forehead that's so so smex.
The new Collabor88 session kicked off yesterday + as per usual, there's a stellar series of new things worth at least a browse. Plenty of bold, rich colors this time around; I'm doing a li'l mix 'n' match with a new double-ruffle skirt by u.f.o. (shown here in 2 primary colors), a vintage-styled parasol by The Sea Hole + some pretty new oversized jewelry by LaGyo. These button-down, thick-heeled ankle booties are tres adorable + I just luhs the bold color combos too (the pink + red together are sooo on-trend in RL now as well).
Strange things you see in the clouds sometimes. Reminds me of a certain someone, hehe.

Minted Geometry and other Visions of Shopping Madness.

This week's new "Blair" style by Truth has become my absolute fave cap hair to date, that is to say, I've been parading around in 1 of these slouchy caps in RL and damn, I wish it was color-change too. *mwuahs Truth Hawks*
I threw together today's look with some other things that I also wish I owned in RL, like this long, 2-tone coat by Teefy that's on sale at the latest TDR + this striped green top by Illusory (which coincidentally played nicely off the architectural lines around me). This pretty pink blush -- echoed in the coral booties + the pink collar necklace below -- is new by Esuga; I'm hoping to show you her pretty new "Chloe" skin soon (whenever I get a RL break already). -- Btw I suspect I did up this pic 'cuz I needed a peaceful shopping scene after my RL descent into utter shopping madness yesterday, i.e. pushing + shoving in the name of fashion at the Rag & Bone sample sale. Heh).
In other news, home decor fiends should be on the lookout for the upcoming Four Corners event organized by Emily Kaestner of Croire. Look for many scrumptious decorating finds starting December 17th; you can read more about this event on the official blog here.

C'est CHIC

By now, the feeds have been jammed with the usual excellent coverage of the upcoming March 5 Pure Juice event. Organizer Keira Seerose & Co. do find the cutest stuffs (nearly everything in this post is debuting at this event). -- I also must say that the advanced organization of these events is sooo appreciated; makes things a helluva lot easier for us unpaid photogs bloggers too.
When I spied the sculpty shoulder pads on this Gaga-retro-futuristic dress by paper.doll, I knew it was pose time.
This fierce new face by MonS lent some 'tude to this look (how candylicious are these plummy lips)? I added some color-dotted "bangle" hoops for a whimsical touch to this free serious hat hair.
Cool Beans is offering this sweetheart of a bubble dress, which I paired with these pretty new Donna Flora "Butterfly" jewels + gem-studded cloche hat.
Here's a closer look at this asymmetrically-styled jewelry + the stunning a.e.meth eye makeup I'm wearing thruout. -- I've become rather addicted to this brand's "wet" eyeliners; the touch of shine on these black lids + undereyes is so modern. A geometric pink blusher gave this girlie wirlie look just a bit o' edge.

Les Filles Gamines Qui Ne Parlent Pas Le Francais

My good friend Dorothy Button is such a 'natch at gamine style that I was inspired to shoot her look of the day + also come up with a version of my own. (Notice how my look is more like trannie gamine). *giggles*
My homie BettiePage Voyager was kind enough to pass me last year's Starlust Hunt gifts (which included this too-cute pink "balls" heavy-bangs updo) + her lovely double purse (with handy-dandy texture change options). Being a girlie-girl of the biggest, most unapologetic kind, I just had to combine these pink + red hues. (*NOTE: Some of these gifts are going bye-bye at the end of the month, so if you like any of 'em you might wanna scoopy now).
Dorothy's look is more of the true gamine, complete with this frothy-light nude pink chemise slipdress + adorable bangs-heavy hair. Her stockings + boots combo are just perfection with this single-button overcoat. *faints, dies*
This post title came about 'cuz a bunch of us were sitting around discussing how much our French rather sux. (At least mine does. Particularly shameful for someone who used to live there for a good bit). Naturally, I had to title this post accordingly. LOL.
