Collabor88 goes on safari this month, meaning oodles of riches in warm earth tones, gold metals & muted emerald and cerise jewel tones. This uber-glam color palette (one that is btw flattering on almost every skin tone) inspired me to ask my baby giraffe friends here to come join me whilst I trekked thru these bare, endless plains. -- Turns out that these frisky li'l girlie giraffes only had 1 thing on the brain: meeting other boy giraffes. It's Bring Your Pet To The Office Day!

The latest round at Collabor88 has just kicked off with the fun theme of "Back to Business," and I luhs how the C88 designers have interpreted this to mean the new office casual: I chose a primary colors set that I'd totes wear to the office (I mean, how can bright cherry reds, rich yellows + deep indigo blues help but break up the office doldrums)? -- Plus everyone appreciates a li'l girlie girl headband action (you boys in engineering -- I'm talkin' to you), 'specially at all those hopelessly dull office meetings. This newest smexeh kitteneh "Lolita" headband style by Truth (another delish Collabor88 find) did the job nicely.

Intentionally Spring.

The weather has returned to freezing here in NYC, so I couldn't resist countering with a li'l boho Springtime style. A ribboned top by Celoe (that's already made the blog rounds 10x over); some burnt orange stilettos (still my fave to date, the ubiquitous Baby Ts) + 2 of the 3 new gorges styles by Truth this week (a '60s shortie headband "Kalle" updo + this longer, tousled, utterly smex mesh "Savina" style) inspired this no-fuss, casual girlie look today.
I hadn't yet visited the 100% mesh Mayfair SIM, so when I grabbed this free Celoe top, I was in for a treat. What I actually found most striking were the store interiors themselves: crammed with RL details like stepladder bookshelves, tiny recessed lighting along the floor (casting the prettiest of shadows) + even RL dressing rooms (mirrors! clothes racks! "boyfriend" waiting chairs!), there were many rich visuals to Ohhh & Ahhh at. The 1st pic above was taken in the posh upstairs at Celoe; the dressing room (complete with tiny security camera!) was at Mon Tissu. Take a look.
