Springtime at the Albero Art Fair

The Art Fair kicked off today at the adorable Albero SIM, which always seems to be hosting whatever current celebration of Le Kyoot is happening on the grid. This Art Fair is so great for taking a lazy weekend stroll, and springtime is everywhere here -- from the knee-high lawns of green grass to pretty daffodils + wooden art easels strewn everywhere you look.
I'm wearing a smexeh 1-shoulder creation by Eboni Khan for Hucci with my fave ripped Fishy Strawberry fishnets. The vibrant buttercup yellow color of this dress just felt too perfect with all the blooming daffodils here.
This Grecian flowy shoulder attachment that trails down the back is just like the Hucci aesthetic: feminine but still modern and clean, with not too many frills + a whole lotta smex. *mwuahs Eboni*
I've been a fan of the 2Real sneaker line ever since creator 2Real Okelli debuted his "Pro_Spec" line some months back. His new "Pure" shoe is, if possible, even better: check out the meticulous leather + suede texturing on various parts of this shoe.
These sneaks come with a very precise HUD where you can color customize every conceivable part of this shoe (including the sole, laces, tongue underneath the laces, toe pad, + even the teeny tiny ribbing running around the top). *mwuahs 2Real Okelli*

ZOMG does all this high culture gimme a headache. Do you see how this here froggie is totally snubbing me? Sheesh.
Giant squashy paint tubes make squirty messes here too. Luckily, nobody seems to mind in the slightest.
As I was shooting this post, the new Tuli group gift came in + I just had to show y'all. It's a "Gem" exclusive makeup for her "Eva" line (the same line I am wearing here) that's not available for purchase in-store. You get 7 skin tones in this gift (from pale to dark); this frosted seaweed green eye makeup + pink-nude lip is the same makeup in each tone.

Gray for Spring

I keep finding pieces in the DeeTalez hunt that I just can't help but build looks around. These tailored charcoal gray shorts (which I nearly overlooked since they were a men's gift) were a great reminder of why this often-overlooked neutral color is such an awes way to go casual cool.
This lovely matte shine gray vest comes from a whole outfit available from a MM board at Nanashi & Yesss Designs that's just giving this look away for free when you click it (I have no idea how long this free-for-all is lasting, but it comes with a cute chocolate brown bolero jacket too).
My skin is another Tres Blah find at Melt (love the dark brows on this one) + this retro '20s blonde hairstyle, complete with petite angled bobbypins, is a former Atomic sale scoop that I was so psyched to have remembered for this look.
I was just starting to shoot when creator Squinternet Larnia of Donna Flora dropped her newest jewels on me, which were the loveliest gem compliment to these gray tones. These brand-new, smoky purple "Arturo" amethyst pieces are crammed full of all the usual supercrazy Donna Flora details, like these teeny tiny diamond butterlies trailing up these hanging chain links. -- Take it from this RL jewelry designer: these would be a bitch and a half to create in RL.

Day of Relaxation (& Foot Baths)

This new free sweaterdress by Pinky*Gals was the perfect reason to show off the playful new stars tattoo by Kaori Masala of dEVOL + a striking rosy-cheeked, girlie face skin by Tres Blah that I found at the underwater Melt installation.
The rest of this look is just comfy casual. This free gold and pink Paradisis purse has been in their subscribo forever + I finally remembered to work it into a pink look, LOL.
I'm so in luhs with this Lamb hair; that subscribo kindly sent out 2 colors of this style last nite. It's the ultimate heart-shaped face.
BP creator BettiePage Voyager is like a fun times machine. In addition to some oversized St. Patty's Day sketchbooks that you can hold, there's this free lovely foot bath in her BP group's Notices, just waiting to soak your tired feets. Steam + relaxed vibe included; those are either lemons or potato slices floating around in there. Pink towel included, that matches this look! Ahhhh.

Drivin' Miss Flapper Girl

Hullo everyone. It's been a minute but I'm so so excited to be blogging again this weekend! *happy dance*I haven't visited the Wave shop in some time + was pleased to see all sorts of new goodies up on the freebie wall. Check out this free feathery pink flapper girl look, just waiting to be plucked from there. (Check out my post here on Free*Style for another "motorcyle girl" look from this amazingly generous store).
These brown leather Courtisane boots are a gift at the Enky's $1L everything store (lotsa cute finds there, including some nice Exile hair). This gorgeous $1L flapper girl hair by IrEn, resplendent with these lovely soft brown curls, is now old news on the feeds but still one of the loveliest grabs at the Accessory Fair hunt (tons more good stuff there; look for black shopping hunt bags that are all free or $1L).
Ya knows I luhs a bit of silliness with my SL, and the RC Cluster store has all kinds of new goodies in its lucky chair. This "Pretend Car" comes with a really cute AO where you "fake drive" while bouncing your head from side to side. ZOMG do I want one of these in RL.
If you're thinking that this bodysuit top is slightly see-thru, well, you would be correct. Hee.

Her Majesty, Donna Flora

Donna Flora creator Squinternet Larnia is debuting 4 new pieces with unmistakably royal flair at the Accessory Fair that kicked off this weekend. Let's take a peek, shall we? *gets serious gown face on*
Check out a close-up of the magnificent necklace from Squinternet's regal "Victoria" set. Just look at this crazy thing.
As always, couture lies in the details: the crowning emerald gem, set in yellow gold, conjures a feeling of a majestic heirloom piece + these teeny-tiny seed pearls totally channel a vintage feel. I love the simplicty of the dark eggplant-colored velvet cord, which sets off this meticulously bejeweled look so perfectly. It's like a details bonanza.

This exquisite "Pink Spring" choker features a fuscia "gem flower" with utterly realistic cabachon texturing (take it from this RL jewelry designer -- this type of gem "vein" texturing is tha shizzz). Medallion-like earrings round out the set.
Squinternet's new "Estre" earrings have a bit of modern edge to them with a tiny gold spiral border + suspended oval loops "catching" these suspended seed pearls. ZOMG are these cool.
The "Emmanuelle" set showcases one of Squinternet's signature design styles: this necklace combines several types of gems going all the way around the neck + plays with stone size, featuring clusters of tiny little gems dancing alongside clusters of lustrous round pearls. Matching earrings cascade down the earlobe in a stately "chandelier" style.
This ridic gorges gown I'm wearing thruout is the current group gift by Marinoco Fashion + I think one of the best $1L finds on the grid right now. This rich creme/light nude beige color is baked to satiny perfection + the knee-length sheer skirt adds a subtly sexy touch; I just luhs these Breakfast At Tiffany's-like long arm gloves with this strapless look. (This gift also includes some awes purple-tinged wings for anyone into the fairy thing; I'll try to show these on a fairy look post for Free*Style). The Honey Kitty knee-high socks are just for added sass.

The OmNomNom Hunt started this week + it's a droolworthy dream for us SL foodies. Gavin + I only just started the hunt but already there's so many fun things. Here's a li'l taster of these delectable free goodies.

Floating fast food meal from someplace that is new to me, Endless Dreams. There were tons of fighting AOs here too; such a cool store.
Aerial burger "swim" floater also by Endless Dreams. The gift here also includes a giant floating shake drink with bendy straw which spins you round + round. ZOMG cute.
There's also a $10L gatcha machine here where you can win this sweet hard candy lollipop in various shiny colors, as well as other floating sweet treats like gummy bears.
Finally, check out these crazy ice creams by Cutie Honey that you can wear or hold. -- Ice cream drips are tres good for the scalp; it's the latest beauty craze.
I recently did a post for Free*Style on how certain ice cream appendages can increase your um, confidence by 500%. As Gavin observed, this one's confidence-increasing power would be more like, 5000%.

These looks were built around the free rolled-waist white denim shorts that the lovely Emma Gilmour of Surf Couture has set out at her Le.Look! location. *mwuahs Emma* This warm golden brown bob hair is newly free by Uncle Web (love the height at the crown; such a smexeh touch) which just works really well with this fantastic skin tone. The white thermal $1L top + free scarf-tied shoulder bag are both finds from Tres Blah.
Check out these free angel's wings by Boom, featuring this unique trailing "back necklace" which falls down the contours of the back. Like this skin, there's something way cute but hellaz sexy about this unique piece.
The jewelry I'm wearing is the newest free jewelry gift from Ganked's subscribo. Just can't seem to get enuff of Misti Merryman's bold statement looks; plus these turquoise pieces are marbled + textured so perfectly.
This 2nd look features the new Vive9 skin gift which I think is done really well. There's lots of options in this gift (teeth/no teeth; frex/no frex + various tones) so if you demo this skin + it works well with your shape, the $150L group join fee is totally worth it since this group gives skin gifts on a regular basis. -- There's an innocent yet curious face going on here that I like. Viva La Diva

This tres glam 1-shoulder, single-bewbie free bodysuit by Boom struck me as something the almighty Beyonce might slip into for her "Diva" video, so I had to title this post accordingly. I luhs the simplicity + naughty glamour of this minimalist bodysuit: I mean just check out this double ruffle situation on the shoulder + the hip. -- It's so diva. As in, sprawled out somewhere on a chaise lounge in The Riviera, with champagne, diva.
The white latex 'kini I'm wearing underneath comes from Nyoko's Wears, one of my oldest fave stores which specializes in the. teensiest. bikinis. that you ever did see. Seriously, their shiny latex is some of the nicest on the grid + their 'kinis might just redefine itsy-witsyness. (Of course, I own one in every color). There's also a shiny body oil here that's fun to play with, for anyone who's into that over-the-top sexy kinda thing.
Hair whores like moi know that it can be challenging to find big, curly styles that move softly around the face. I scooped this style at !SyDS!, which is currently offering several unapologetically big + flexi hairs for free in their lucky boards. This style I'm wearing comes with butterflies above the head + even a separate butterfly for your nose! These are so worth a stalk.
These shoes were another hard-to-find "score" for me: excellent nude-colored heels. These patent leather ones have a sophisticated, matte shine + were too prettily textured for me to pass up. (I scooped these for $100L at the Nardcotix moving sale last Friday; not sure if this is still going on). Plus this glossy caramel color was just yums.
Finally what's a diva without a doll? This free sheep doll came to me courtesy of the Katat0nik subscribo. It tickles me how this cutie pie looks just a tad evil at the same time. All he needs is a li'l WUV. Awwws.
