Intentionally Spring.

The weather has returned to freezing here in NYC, so I couldn't resist countering with a li'l boho Springtime style. A ribboned top by Celoe (that's already made the blog rounds 10x over); some burnt orange stilettos (still my fave to date, the ubiquitous Baby Ts) + 2 of the 3 new gorges styles by Truth this week (a '60s shortie headband "Kalle" updo + this longer, tousled, utterly smex mesh "Savina" style) inspired this no-fuss, casual girlie look today.
I hadn't yet visited the 100% mesh Mayfair SIM, so when I grabbed this free Celoe top, I was in for a treat. What I actually found most striking were the store interiors themselves: crammed with RL details like stepladder bookshelves, tiny recessed lighting along the floor (casting the prettiest of shadows) + even RL dressing rooms (mirrors! clothes racks! "boyfriend" waiting chairs!), there were many rich visuals to Ohhh & Ahhh at. The 1st pic above was taken in the posh upstairs at Celoe; the dressing room (complete with tiny security camera!) was at Mon Tissu. Take a look.

Wide Open Spaces

Hey SLexy fashionistas! Its Journey Lorakeet posting today. Tesh asked me awhile back if I could guest blog and I couldnt say no. She takes super cute pictures and affordable looks for you guys, so I hope I can do just the same. I put together todays look as "turning over a new leaf" in mind. The place I took these shots are from the beautiful LuLa sim , home of new collaboration, Mon Tissu. To fit in with the theme, I put together these pretty freebies to make it work.

Courtisane , just released the purple version of the Mari Lu boots for their subscribo members. The brown version Im wearing can be exclusively be found at Enkys Dollar Store , where my donna flora earrings are also from. Perfect place to get some freebies for only 1L. One of my favorite jewlery makers, Dark Mouse has released some new hairs and updated some of her older ones. She kindly set the Alex hairstyle free and you can buy the fatpack free too so, hurry up before it's gone.

Another store that has reopened with a new location is Doppelganger Inc. who has put out this tux dress as a gift. I hope this gets made in more colors because I wanted to wear it with everything. Another little store I discovered is *Latte* who has adorable fur coats, dolly dresses and these freebie jewel tight set you can grab off the wall near the entrance. My other accessories are from previous collections from the dressing room. If you havent been to either dressing rooms, I suggest you go for high quality items offered for the fraction of the original price.

Hotel de Glace

Esuga creator Eilfie Sugarplum just passed me her newest skins, eyes & makeups + as per usual, Eilfie's sense of playfulness really emerges thru her work. Check her pouty teeth + "Persian Cat" eyes, which I thought were so unusual + fun. *mwuahs Eilfie Sugarplum*
I met up with my penguin friends while visiting the famed Hotel de Glace (ice hotel) that's built (+ melted) once a year. These li'l flipper dudes are $30L at D-Lab; my fave was this animated backpack guy (who I named Chippie), who actually swivels his head + waves his flippers around nervously. -- I think Chippie was worried about everything melting. There, there Chippie. *pats Chippie on the head + wiggles his flipper*

Day of Relaxation (& Foot Baths)

This new free sweaterdress by Pinky*Gals was the perfect reason to show off the playful new stars tattoo by Kaori Masala of dEVOL + a striking rosy-cheeked, girlie face skin by Tres Blah that I found at the underwater Melt installation.
The rest of this look is just comfy casual. This free gold and pink Paradisis purse has been in their subscribo forever + I finally remembered to work it into a pink look, LOL.
I'm so in luhs with this Lamb hair; that subscribo kindly sent out 2 colors of this style last nite. It's the ultimate heart-shaped face.
BP creator BettiePage Voyager is like a fun times machine. In addition to some oversized St. Patty's Day sketchbooks that you can hold, there's this free lovely foot bath in her BP group's Notices, just waiting to soak your tired feets. Steam + relaxed vibe included; those are either lemons or potato slices floating around in there. Pink towel included, that matches this look! Ahhhh.

Drivin' Miss Flapper Girl

Hullo everyone. It's been a minute but I'm so so excited to be blogging again this weekend! *happy dance*I haven't visited the Wave shop in some time + was pleased to see all sorts of new goodies up on the freebie wall. Check out this free feathery pink flapper girl look, just waiting to be plucked from there. (Check out my post here on Free*Style for another "motorcyle girl" look from this amazingly generous store).
These brown leather Courtisane boots are a gift at the Enky's $1L everything store (lotsa cute finds there, including some nice Exile hair). This gorgeous $1L flapper girl hair by IrEn, resplendent with these lovely soft brown curls, is now old news on the feeds but still one of the loveliest grabs at the Accessory Fair hunt (tons more good stuff there; look for black shopping hunt bags that are all free or $1L).
Ya knows I luhs a bit of silliness with my SL, and the RC Cluster store has all kinds of new goodies in its lucky chair. This "Pretend Car" comes with a really cute AO where you "fake drive" while bouncing your head from side to side. ZOMG do I want one of these in RL.
If you're thinking that this bodysuit top is slightly see-thru, well, you would be correct. Hee.

Feets First

Quickie post to show you 3 reasons why you should so totally do the Shoes & Accessories Hunt. These beauties are all free + just require a li'l hunting.

The pink girlie girl in me just. died. when I saw these shimmery beauties by one of my favie shoe stores, R2. From the tiny pink bow in the back of the ankles to the beautifully wrinkled textures (I luhs the "full bright" glow on these; there's also an option to wear them without it), these superfun platform booties are just go-go dancer glam on crack. Free!
These next killer chic boots by Courtisane are just bursting with details: a long, trailing white ruffle running down 1 side; a buckled mini-pocket + a tiny little measuring tape on the other (!) + a tapered stitched silver stripe running down the middle. There's also a cool horizontal stripey texture running thruout too. I kinda like that these are a low heel -- it somehow makes them edgier. I just had to show you all sides. Aren't they fabby? Free!
This last pair of pretty kitten heels can be found at the beautiful new Donna Flora store + there's oodles of details in these. The curling metal detail is so exquisite on these bejeweled bronze ankle cuffs + on the pretty T-strap. Plus the color combo of alternating round brown gems with turquoise-colored jewels is just amazing. It's feets jewelry fo' sho. Free!
