Sunday Style: Prints Palette

Today's Sunday Style features several striking prints, like these free Luce. branch stenciled tights + free brass rose Kloka shorts, which I dressed up with 2 bohemian $60L patchwork purses by Yomeshoujo for a Sunday walk with my restless teddys. -- Poor teddys. One was a bit shy; he seemed perfectly happy to peek out from behind my waist. *kisses teddys*
This 2nd look features a free fluttery top in mustard yellow (not a color I usually wear, so it was tres fun to build a look around). These free metallic beige heels were such a great neutral add to any strong print look; I liked a touch of contrasting color against these darker yellow hues, like this cherry watering can that creator YonYon Yip passed me to play with. -- It was way fun to water stuff; for example, Gavin really liked it when I watered his jeans. Hee.
A note about this hair: these playfully mismatched, half-up ponys by Truth are such a must-grab for anyone into more youthful styles (I liked 'em so much I'm showing 2 colors in this post). *mwuahs Truth Hawks*

Today we break from our usual fashionista biznatches to show you something a li'l different: this crazy tricked-out motorcycle that BB & Motorcycles creator Boiboi Saenz sent my way. Not that I'm a tomboy mechanic kinda girl, but I can most def appreciate a fine piece of machinery. *mwuahs Boiboi Saenz*
Most people don't know it, but a bike also makes a tres comfy bed. 'Specially the super detailed ones, with all the pointy parts sticking out. *balances carefully*
With all this hot metal, a nude mesh bodysuit stocking by BabyDoll seemed perfectly in order (btw this nottie topless number is a steal for $30L; for all you stockings fiends, the fishnets in this fleshy nude hue are such a find).

Adventures of the Junior Meat Mafia, Vol. 1: Hooch Quest

Sometimes you just need a break from the whole craziness of SL fashion. Which is why me + my buddies Dorothy Button and Gavin McGinnis decided to form a new crew: the Junior Meat Mafia. Our quest: to seek out all things meat. But hey, we're inclusive. We also look for all yummeh stuff to wash it all down with.

Having heard rumors of a moonshine distillery in SL, of course we Junior Meat Mafia members just had to investigate. Look at these enormous orange vats we found tucked away on a horse farm (see them behind me?) Sneaky!
Taste testing is tres important. I snuck my own jug o' hooch faster than you can say Johnny Walker. *Giggles + gulps it down* Heeey. I feel fiiine.
Dorothy was busy scanning the area for hidden moonshine vats. See how she makes the country Western thing look supaglam?
Usually I'd say that Dorothy is one of the most normal people I know. But after knocking back some o' that moonshine, an intense, crazy competitive streak began to reveal itself."Looky here Junior Meat Mafia peoples, I discovered this here moonshine. It's all mine. I'm saying, this town ain't big enough for the three of us." (Notice Gavin guzzling his moonshine quietly in the background during this time). This was also when I began to wonder whether our trip to the gun factory right before was quite as brilliant as I had originally thought.What was that? Did you guys hear a cop car?
There's nothing like the threat of external authority to make everybody friends again. OK Junior Meat Mafia internal conflicts resolved! We scooted outta there pretty quick.

That moonshine must've really done a number on us, 'cuz suddenly we felt an overwhelming urge to dance with the cows. (We are the Junior Meat Mafia! Must spend quality time with our food source). -- Turns out that the only dance the cows knew was the Hokey Pokey, so we humans followed along as best we could. We weren't great at it, but we knew the cows had to respect us anyway 'cuz we had our guns + stuff.

"You put your right foot in, you put your right foot out . . ."
"You put your right foot in and you shake it all about . . ."
"You do the Hokey Pokey and you turn yourself around . . ."
"That's what it's all about."
The country Western thing was growing on us, so we donned our favorite antlers for some pose striking, Western-style. (We Junior Meat Mafia members like to envision ourselves as meat whenever possible. It's kinda our thing).
Something about the brown horns + wooly red hat made these free antlers totally go with Dorothy's plaid outfit.
You wouldn't know it, but the cacti (that's plural for cactus, for all you non-Western-hailing folk) seemed to enjoy having us around. We think Gavin was their fave. (He braved their needles + stood the closest to them).
Gavin and I's antlers came from Callie Cline + they were just lovely. You could almost hear the tinkling of these pretty little ornaments hanging so daintily from them. Gavin's had tiny miniature stockings + candy canes draped over the horns. I adored mine too. Who can resist antlers with pink ornaments?
All of us totally loved these free reindeer slippers (which come with their own decorated mini-antlers) from Rebel Hope Designs. Aren't they just darling? Li'l furry white "cotton ball" tails for your feets! *faints, dies*
It was time to scare up some 'cue (the saucy ribs kind, with sides), so we Junior Meat Mafia members headed in search of some grub.
