Amelie, Ma Belle

The latest "Amelie" face by Glam Affair is a sophisticated yet soft debut combining the best features of this skin line to date: a not-too-small nose, full, pouty lips + that impeccably soft Glam Affair "glow" that I'm such a fan of, 'specially in lighter skin tones. Take a look.
I so appreciate how the makeups in this brand embrace the bold + colorful: you get the de rigueur pale/pastel girly makeups included in the pack, but it's the rich, deep colors + dramatically smudgy eyeshadows that really let the luminescent quality of these skins truly shine.
The slouchy casual jacket in the above pic is 1 of the free group gifts at COCO; the dresses are additional colors of the Fishy Strawberry dress at Fashionably Late + all hair shown here is the latest by Truth (which I've been a bit behind on blogging due to RL travels), with all jewelry by Donna Flora.

Viva La Diva

This tres glam 1-shoulder, single-bewbie free bodysuit by Boom struck me as something the almighty Beyonce might slip into for her "Diva" video, so I had to title this post accordingly. I luhs the simplicity + naughty glamour of this minimalist bodysuit: I mean just check out this double ruffle situation on the shoulder + the hip. -- It's so diva. As in, sprawled out somewhere on a chaise lounge in The Riviera, with champagne, diva.
The white latex 'kini I'm wearing underneath comes from Nyoko's Wears, one of my oldest fave stores which specializes in the. teensiest. bikinis. that you ever did see. Seriously, their shiny latex is some of the nicest on the grid + their 'kinis might just redefine itsy-witsyness. (Of course, I own one in every color). There's also a shiny body oil here that's fun to play with, for anyone who's into that over-the-top sexy kinda thing.
Hair whores like moi know that it can be challenging to find big, curly styles that move softly around the face. I scooped this style at !SyDS!, which is currently offering several unapologetically big + flexi hairs for free in their lucky boards. This style I'm wearing comes with butterflies above the head + even a separate butterfly for your nose! These are so worth a stalk.
These shoes were another hard-to-find "score" for me: excellent nude-colored heels. These patent leather ones have a sophisticated, matte shine + were too prettily textured for me to pass up. (I scooped these for $100L at the Nardcotix moving sale last Friday; not sure if this is still going on). Plus this glossy caramel color was just yums.
Finally what's a diva without a doll? This free sheep doll came to me courtesy of the Katat0nik subscribo. It tickles me how this cutie pie looks just a tad evil at the same time. All he needs is a li'l WUV. Awwws.
There's a li'l bit o' diva in all of us -- especially at the start of the week. Love + fashionista kisses to all!

Winged Victory at Risk City

I was doing some shopping with my bestie DreamAngel Larnia in Kaori Masala's gorgeous dEVOL Fashion Avenue shopping district when we happened upon these ahhh-mazin' winged platform sneaker boots at Chapeau tres Mignon. As Dream put it, these very well could be the goddess of sneaker boots.
'Course I just had to throw together a look to go with, especially with these $1L angels wings by Glow Studio. These wings are so freakin' fierce.
These shots were taken at the spectacular Risk City SIM, which has tons of different builds to explore. This was the fairy ice world sphere, where you can fish for sharks, ice skate (the skates are free) or chillax in a lonely ice temple. Here I am zooming near this glowy mushroom thing, complete with it's own little swing.
This pose from Long Awkward Pose reminded me of the Winged Victory (Nike) of Samothrace sculpture I learned about back in my art history class days. Yes, these Glow Studio wings are just that good. LOL.

A quick word to hunters: the Cupid Heart Hunt started this weekend + it's one of the better ones, with some of SL's best stores involved. Here's just one of the goodies just waiting to be scooped: this fat pearls + red crystal hearts bracelet by Mocha (one of several gifties at that store alone; the matching necklace is great also).
There's tons of other fashionista finds on this hunt, including the glowy, sky blue ankle strap heels by R2 that are an absolute must-have. You are looking for puffy red hearts with tiny little Cupid arrows in them (the hearts can be any size) + it's a relatively short list of stores. Do not miss this fantastic hunt! Back to our SL explorations, Gavin + I met up with our esteemed newest blogger for SLexy Fashionista, the eternally fab LisaMun Aronowicz, who sadly found herself caught in an ginormous spider's web. Unfortunately I have a lifelong aversion to all things spider, so we heartlessly abandoned her + continued on with our Risk City journey. We found a forlorn dance ball hiding in the middle of this stunning underwater "valley" filled with blood-red roses, which was the perfect spot for a quiet dance. This gorgeous "sky" above us was actually the water's surface; it was raining in the valley.
To get to this valley, head to Risk City + look for a small pool of water near a hangman's noose. Take the pose where you are peering into the water below; you'll see mirror with a sad girl's reflection tucked in a hidden dressing room below. Fall into the water and head outside the dressing room into the underwater rose valley. This SIM is crazy -- ya just gotta go.

What $37L Gets You

As some of you may know and/or suspect, I'm kinda obsessed with the peek-a-boo buttie look. I wanted to share with you an awes find I picked up while scooping the free holiday gifties at the PARADIS store. -- I've been in luhs with this store ever since I grabbed their "Spicy" tank tops some time ago, which I still think are some of the prettiest I've seen anywhere + are still currently available in a color fatpack for the low price of . . . free.
This first look pairs the pink "Spicy" tank with these smexeh $37L overall pants. No doubt this look is a tad bit naughty, but hey. Whoever said fashion was only for the timid? Hee.
I'm also wearing the new "Dolled Up" shoes by Atomic which I think are pretty brill. The round-toe platform style is way girlie-wirly + you also get a HUD to change both the bows + socks colors.
Here's the same overall pant in gold. I've paired it here with a gold bottom from Cherry Girl + a shiny black itsy-witsy, teeny-tiny top from one of my fave latex 'kini stores, Nyokos Wears.
The henna tat is a former freebie from the CyberStar BodyArt MM board (+ one of the coolest henna ones I've seen, since it wraps both the upper arms + the torso). I also luhs that this henna shade totally matches the lipstick hue from the new Tuli group gift skin (which btw, really is as good as everyone says it is. I haven't taken it off for days).
There are several other pieces at PARADIS that are similarly slashed down to this randomly low price of $37L, like this smexeh heart cutout cropped turtleneck top. I thought the free candy cane "doll key" from Kissed by Lithium was le kyootest addition to these red suspenders.
Here I'm showing the black version of this heart cutout top, which I've paired with some of my favie pieces from League, like these ribbed tights + brown mini with angels wings imprinted on the buttie area. The free BAX boots gift from Le.Look! were a total 'natch with this gray + brown look.
It's a bit hard to tell (since I realized after I did these shots that my long hair got partially in the way of showing this top . . . le grrrr) but the heart cutout on this black top is really perfectly situated for a la good bewbies tease.
FYI the PARADIS store has been doing its own 5-day mini-Advent calendar event (all 5 gifts have stayed around for the duration of the event), which gets you a skin, some supercute lingerie + other really nice things. Right-click around the Christmas tree and/or mantle to find the gifts with the "Buy" button activated for $0L. *FYI: this store is jammed today since I believe it's the final day. -- Please also note that I'm not sure when this $37L sale ends, so you might wanna scoot on ovah to PARADIS now if you like any of these looks.

This free handheld balloon gift from Miyoko Magic is tres fun. It changes color + "bobs" up and down while you are floating in the air. It's adorables and floats you around at a leisurely pace (the way a balloon should).
There's tons of awes skybox gifts now but one in particular that I wanted to mention. It's the free skybox profile picks gift by Lithium. This thing is a mere 37 prims + it's seriously awes. It comes with snow falling outside your window (which you can actually see out of); your own fireplace; several cute snuggle poses; a fur rug, complete with a few pillows; + 2 his/hers snowboards. The inside walls are this pretty multi-color brick texture. The shading + visual details in this skybox are really top-notch + this is not one to be missed.
Hope that everyone is eating lotsa yummy treats + scooping lotsa of gift bounty (in case you can't tell, I'm a total fan of the gimmies). *giggles quite unashamedly*
