For The Paws

There's been so many shopping events that it's hard to pick just one; I wanted to mention Project FUR Japan as a big one for animal lovers. 100% of the proceeds go to efforts aiding the helpless pets who were displaced and lost after the tragic events in Japan; the official website mentions this video here, showing a lost dog refusing to leave his fellow furry friend, which helped inspire this event.
Appropriately, some of the cutest items at this shopping event are animal-themed, like these adorable baby pets (I scooped the baby panda + the baby monkey, who even has a banana milk bottle, awwws!), which I thought were a steal for $60L. I'm also showing this week's fabby new windswept "Kaelyn" hair by Truth (who's also offering a supercute headband hair called "Baby Doll" at Project FUR Japan, that you can fatpack for $350L).
These bunneh socks were just too cute. They even have li'l fluffie white "tails" in the back ankle parts. Double awwws!

I was tres excited for my big trip to Disneyland today. I didn't think Mickey would mind my recent scuffles, as long as I wore my best jewelry.
These oversized ruby choker + briolette earrings by Donna Flora are included in the free Xmas gift; I can't seem to get enough of these black eye + cheek bandaid "stitches" face dressings, which begged for this dramatically bloody head covering by Hat Mechanic (which, incidentally, also visualized the sound beating that my wallet recently took at Disney). *massages wallet*

Dangerous With That Plunger

You know all that stuff you hear about Waste Management being thugged out + run by gangstas? It's all true. Luckily, 'twuz nuthin' that me + my trusty plunger couldn't handle. *rubs eye*
I thought that candy pink would be a cheerful color choice for my tres glam new job, so I grabbed these kawaii goodies that I saw on The Lucky Dispatch. This floofy chiffon skirt + matching lion-faced top are both free; I'm also wearing a pretty collarbone tat that Gavin made for me this Xmas, that says "Dream" (not only the moniker of our most gracious friend, but also a tat I wear in RL) which I convinced Gavin to offer at SLexy's temp HQ for $1L (buy the pizza slice on the counter + wave hello to the foxes while you're there).

My Milkshake Brings All The Boys To The Yard

I couldn't help but think of Kelis' catchy tune (maybe 'cuz she's worn my jewelry in RL, hehe) when I remembered my fave strawberry milkshake treat by Love Soul, to which I couldn't resist adding the matching mini-milkshake earrings. *slurps my milkshake loudly*

P.P. Made A Mess on Suri's Chair

There once was a little panda who loved to get into trouble. Her name was Pretend Panda (or "P.P." for short).

P.P.'s favorite thing to do was to find new places to do something mischievous. Bad panda!
One day P.P. was walking by Suri Christen's house when she sniffed the most delicious smell. It was her favorite food -- pizza! P.P. couldn't resist sneaking inside for a closer look.
P.P. just had to help herself to a hot slice. Then she spotted Suri's brand-new pose chair. P.P. thought it'd be really fun to enjoy her snack there. Bad panda!
When Suri walked in and saw P.P. getting pizza all over her beautiful new chair, she got mad.
This made P.P. cry.
Luckily P.P.'s friend, Gavin Panda (G.P.) came by to console her. He treated P.P. to her favorite strawberry ice cream cone + made funny faces to cheer her up.
They were happy pandas.

Munchies Mix

Me, my gorges gf Diamondzz Destiny + our resident manshionista Gavin McGinnis were hangin' the other day when we started gettin' all grumpyface 'cuz we got a crazy case of the munchies. Luckily Famish store creator Whisper Despres intervened before the hair pulling + eye poking could begin by inviting us to sample her newest mouth treats. Here's a glimpse of the fun we had with these tasty noms.

"Hey Diamondzz, SL food is all zero calorie. Let's pack face."
Two of the most beautiful words in the English language: processed meat.
Diamondzz is one of the most elegant people I know, so it was personally funny to me that she opted for this somewhat hostile "Anti-Valentine" mouth treat. *giggles quietly to self*
All of these Famish items are a reasonable $50L + they come with cute optional animations like sad faces or smiles. I think of Whisper as SL's resident mad scientist of mouth treats: she's been known to make things like TNT for the mouth + customizable lucky boards for the mouth (where you can insert your own pix as what you "win," LOL).
