Oh, Sugar

Sugarcube creator Sayuri Cremorne disappeared briefly last year, right after announcing her then-new Sugar (more casual) brand. I haven't paid these stores a visit in awhile, so imagine my delight when I found these free goodies hanging around quietly, just waiting to be scooped.
This gorges sugarplum-colored, gold-stenciled free tank top was tres perfect with this molten gold, flouncy knee-length skirt. Ahhh casual summer style.
This pretty blue smock top I'm wearing is also free (check the 2nd floor). This was so great for my beachside stroll.
I found this lovely free "Chimney" dress hidden in the store too. Just touch the guestbook on the table in the middle of the store + it's yours, gratis.

And now to show you 1 of my fave dresses ever in my inventory, which Sayuri debuted last year: the "Goldfish" dress by Sugarcube. The insanely fluttery way this thing moves, the stunning ombre color fade + these absolutely luscious candy colors -- to me, this is the very epitome of fashion candy: delectable. *mwuahs Sayuri Cremorne*

Hello, Sunshine

The Summer Sunrise Festival at Tableau is a must-visit this weekend, with tons of adorables waiting for the scooping. 'Natch when I heard about this thing, I ran straight over to Tres Blah see if another skin was out for the grabbing. No such luck, but this seemed like reason enough to truck out one of my fave skins ever, a former Stumblebum sale item that the lovely Julliette Westerburg was gracious enough to sneak me a copy of even tho' I somehow snoozed it. *mwuahs Julliette Westerburg*
Now: Check. Out. This. Hair. Head over heels lurve this new short pixie style by Lamb, which to me is like, the very definition of gamine. Damn this thing is cute. Where's my friend Dorothy Button when I need her? She would look tres cute sporting this around. I love shopping for my friends. And getting stuff for moi while I'm at it. Heh.

I'm showing 2 free or $1L tops (one of many gifts there; see the Styling Credits below for more freebies tips). One is by Fashionably Dead (Toast Bard is a mad genius) + the other by Surf Couture. The shorts worn thruout are $1L by Surf Couture too.

A portion of the proceeds go to charity, so it's okay to shop! Or rather, more okay to shop! The trailing flower detail on this Surf Couture "Canvas Garden" top made me grab it tout de suite.
Here's a beauty shot of the platform sandals I just had to scoop from Surf Couture, which were so cute that I almost didn't mind they don't come with prim toes (oh but yes, the fashionista in moi is quite spoiled that way). I wanted to shoot them so you could see how the toes look tho'.
A word about these poses: I saw these "Salty Sunburns" poses on Xanadu Capelo's blog here + they are sooo cute. They are also completely free. All ya gotta do is drop the girl an IM or NC + they are yours. How generous is that? *mwuahs Xanadu Capelo*

* FREEBIE TIPS: There are oodles of freebies + cheapies here (combo of Lag Monster + RL time constraints kept me from shooting them all) but the funnest is a sunlit "monkey drum" tambourine-like hand toy that comes with an adorable jingle jangle dance animation, where you kinda sway from side to side whilst jangling the tambourine. I had a fine ol' time skipping around with this while wearing the $1L golden harlequin mask gift too).

There's also a fatpack of free bandeau-top bikinis by Pig (big square sign on the cart) that are supercute.

Finally don't miss the 4 hairs for $1L each at BP (buy the boxes floating in the pails on the ground, outside the actual store; not in the center street festival) that are cute; think 3 suuuperpoofy "Mushroom" bob styles (in various colors) + 1 braided style.

Cherry, 2 Ways

2 CherryCheri Bo Berry-licious colored things caught my eye recently that I wanted to show you.
Creator Eboni Khan dropped this lovely "Gold Rain Romper" on me earlier this week, which so totally embodies the recognizable Hucci aesthetic: clean, modern, beautifully detailed (love the miniature gold stud ornamentation work) + all with a healthy bit o' smex. I paired this urbanista look with the newest "Peyton" Truth hair, which I gotta say is one of my fave Truth styles to date. Creator Truth Hawks has been busy creating these new fluttery, softly "streaked" styles lately which are so prettily textured; coming from bloggerland, I also appreciate any hairstyles that pull semi-away from the face (so you can at least partially see earrings + such). *double mwuahs Eboni Khan + Truth Hawks*

In the pursuit of other cherryness, I'm also gonna show ya one of my fave candy apple red-hued gifts to date, this aDIVA skirt + cartoon-emblem top look -- despite the fact that you can't get it anymore (yep, I'm contrary like that :P). -- This gift caught my eye since I typically never wear all of what's in a total look gift, but this one was so spot-on coordinated. The cartoon-emblazoned tank top, polka dot ruffle mini + deep cherry bangle struck the perfect note for dramatically girlie style.
