Donna Flora creator Squinternet Larnia has debuted some gorges new pearl & gem "flower bud" jewelry which put me in a tres ladylike mood today.
These pearly sheens paired so well with a new baby pink ruffle top by Ingenue; some sheer patterned "knee socks" + the free N-Core heels added just a touch of smex to this uber-feminine look.
As always with Donna Flora, Squinternet's eye for individual gem detail is unmatched in SL: check out these "trails" of multi-rope pearls dangling so luxuriously from these gem buds. A color change HUD allows you to choose gemstone hues to match your look, letting these classic pearls work with just about everything. -- Btw this is me being fickle re: blonde vs. brunette for this look, heh.

Freckle Face

A certain someone I know kinda has a thing for freckles, and this lovely free freckles skin gift by Bubble is so pretty that I just had to show it you.
Check out the adorable face on this free skin. It's tres innocent + girlish, and the lavendar lip is both unusual + kewl. (I have frex in RL, so I deeply appreciate seeing a heavier freckles effect). I thought this gamine look went so well with the free profile picks gift dress by Designing Nicky Ree -- shimmery, drapey layers of gossamer pink, plus the floral 1-shoulder detail is so lovely (many thanks to my friend Margaux DuFaux for telling about this amazing store long ago!) I have a feeling that this diaphanous number is already gonna make my top 10 for this year.
I luhs the way these flowers curl over the shoulder. The single drape flowing down the back of this dress is so goddess-like too.
These 2-tone pink heels by R2 seemed a 'natch with this outfit.
This free Ohmai bodysuit has already made the freebie blog rounds, but the high-buttie cut was so super smex that I just had to model it here. Like the dress above, this is another 1-shoulder look (also with floral detail) that is both elegant + sexy.
This buttie-friendly bodysuit seemed the perfect vehicle to show you another recent skin fave of mine by Fhang Candy. This store is typically overlooked (admittedly, by myself as well) but I have to say that I'm tres impressed with the "glowy," dewy sheen of this skin. This was one of 2 recent Christmas skin gifts set out in-store (one was $5L and the other $10L; not sure which one this was) but there's a MM board here with a skin similar to this one, plus I believe the store is currently having a massive sale. Isn't it a beauty?

Normally I'm not really a short hair kinda gal, but this free "Jess" style from Truth is a happy exception. The crown height to this asymmetric, modern bob makes all the difference re: the smex factor. Plus the little bobbypins on the side are just the cutest.
Just to show how versatile this awes bodysuit is, I slipped on a black feather miniskirt (a previous gift from Malt)+ a lace-up ties pants layer from 1 of my go-tos for when I just need a black mini, the PixelDolls "Everything" black skirt (this is/was such a steal at the store's ongoing $10L retirement sale).

Btw if you like the first frex skin above, the Bubble store has several other superfun free group gifts, including a pretty hummingbird/daisy chest tattoo + some yummeh "swirl" lollipops (with both hand + mouth attachments) in a color fatpack. (I believe their other location has a trailing above-the-buttie free daisy tattoo as well, which I'll try to find the sLURL for).

Pink Triple Threat

Pink is the ultimate girlie girl color + sometimes I just can't get enough of it. Whether a rich berry fuscia or a paler carnation hue, this feminine color totally touches me in my special fashion place.
House of Hucci has become one of my go-tos for elegant yet provocative dresses. I love how the clean simplicity of these designs totally turns the hardcore sexy into something elegant. A perfect example is Hucci's newest minidress: a wickedly short number that inches up on the hip and sneaks up just past the butt, yet feels sophisticated+ modern, and of course fits like a glove. Oh Eboni Khan. Your clothes make us feel like such 21st-century take-no-shizz goddesses.
This simple, striking design (and playful color) is such a perfect canvas for whimsical accessories, and there's tons of superfun gifts now. Love this free handheld iphone + these free adorable Rubix Cube, Magic 8-Ball and vinyl record charm necklaces. See how these black fingerless gloves, rimmed with silver or gold metal, totally channel Lady Gaga? And the brand-new Naive double-striped boy sox are just the ultimate in tomboy smex. The lucky board at Americamura has been packed for this superfeminine sweater dress with Miel-like ruffly miniskirt. Paired with the free ultra-large "L'isle Joyeux" hoops from my beloved go-to jewelry store U&R Dogs, this look is full-on winter comfy cute. And don't even get me started on these free Mary Jane boots from The Dominion. Not only are the ribbon + strap parts color change, but this style is just the perfect blend of coy + classic (see a larger pic of these fabby boots below in the credits). Ahhhdore.
Sascha's Designs has got to be one of the grid's most generous stores: once you become a group member, you also get each prior month's gifts for free (look for the wall near the giant red arrow). Me, I'm not so much the formal ballgown type o' gal. But when I spied this stunning top -- which OK, is maybe a smidge revealing -- I knew it was create-a-pink-look time.
The wrinkled texturing on this top is yummie + I love how the dark berry spaghetti straps totally work with the bottom of that same dark pink Hucci dress for a versatile, non-gown look. Aren't these bowtie stockings just precious with this ensemble? The Vinyl Cafe/The Dominion is one of the best groups to join for generous free gifts + I find myself constantly wearing their stockings. Just to keep it from being too matchy-matchy, I slipped on these brown multi-textured lace-up boots (featuring these thick, sporty stripes) from PixelDolls for that extra smexeh touch. In general I find that life is all about those li'l special extras.
