Taking Over the World. . .1 Donut at a Time (My First Post!)

Hi, Gavin here. Those of you who might've seen my name before might know me as one of the manshionistas of SLexy (or at least that's what Tesh likes to call us male models) but now I'm going to open my mouth and prove I'm more than just a pretty face.

Exploring the many SIMs in SL I ran across this awesome donut cannon. Yes I said Donut. Cannon.Strapping on this monster started giving me visions of taking over the world. As in, blasting anyone who got in my way. With donuts.

Loaded up with everything from powdered donuts to my favorite (the almighty glazed donut) I was successfully TP'ing from SIM to SIM, donut conquering everywhere I went. All was going to plan until I ran into my favorite fashionista and blogger extraordinaire, Tesh.
She was armed with the only known defense, a can of Flattery Salmon. This can of flattery salmon is very powerful. It distracts an unsuspecting victim with flattering pick-up lines to move in and disable them.
As Tesh approached me I heard stuff like this:

"For a moment I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Now I see that I am very much alive and heaven has been brought to me."

Then another one:
"If I received a nickel for every time I saw someone as stunning as you, I'd have five cents."

And this:
"Excuse me, I'd like to have kids someday, and I wanted to know how your parents created such a beautiful creature."

I became so distracted by all the flattery that before I knew what happened, Tesh had pinned me on the ground and knocked the donut cannon out of my hands. Thanks to a fashionista, the SL world was safe again to travel.

I would like to thank Tesh for being so supportive and helping me with my very first blog. Without her this post would not have been possible. Thank You

A Kook-y 'Kini Adventure

Summer's in full swing, which means that 'kinis are everywhere on the grid. I fell in love with this shiny sky blue one by Mimikri at the ongoing Dressing Room sale + the pareo wrap that came with it. A tousled, summery hair + some free color change flip-flops by In Her Shoes + I was ready for some waterpark fun.
Here's me rockin' a li'l pose at the Kook waterpark. -- The Kook build is really striking, with lots of evocative spaces for shooting against a water background (think lonely pieces of asphalt floating in the ocean, abandoned for no reason). -- Shopping tip: this SIM is also home to the stunning Crownling furniture store, a must-visit for any Y's House fans (i.e., cuter anis + better builds than usual; see the pic in the Styling Credits below for just 1 couples ani example).

This 'kini put me in a SL explorer mood, so I grabbed Gavin to poke around the rest of the Kook SIM. Here we were popping into the beautiful Regenboog sky home, which was filled with sunlight streaming thruout this pretty work studio. -- This was me having a nice li'l sulk at the worktable. Heh.
Back on the ground, we found a modern glass home floating in the ocean. This thing was way minimalist: only a couple of chairs, some falling rain + a single painting were inside. (That's us teeny weenies inside, gazing at the art).
We also found a giant turntable, just hangin' out in the sea for no reason. A lone wooden stool was handily situated for some quiet reflection. (You could also buy that random box next to me for free).
Finally, some chillaxin' with our good friend + fellow SLexy crew member Rene Caerndow back at her place. We were actually lucky to catch her between gigs (Rene has been a busy bee, what with all the art gallery owning + clothes making + all). -- As you can see, we ladies put Gavin straight to work with the shopping bags. He was a good sport about it tho'.
A huge *mwuahs* to my girl Nina Fessbeinder for blogging the eye-popping Kook build (you rock gf!) SL explorer love + fashionista kisses to all!
