More to Help Japan

Another shopping event is underway to aid the tragic events in Japan, this time featuring many Asian creators and donations going 100% to the Japanese Red Cross Society. On a purely selfish note, it's also your chance to grab these gorges wine-colored Kookie boots on sale (normally $500L, reduced down to $380L); the long row of eye-popping detailed "eyelets" on these boots is simply the yums.
R2 creator Rei2 Aya is also offering an exclusive white & gold version of her popular "Pumehana" boot for this event, which I paired with a free sherbety cardi for my comfy airport stroll today. A $75L lemon-lime bag by Addict provided ample room for all my fashionista travel reading.
On a more serious note, I'd like to recommend this CNN article which explains just how many disasters Japan has had to endure; you can see some crazy before & after visuals of the devastation here + some unforgettable footage of the tsunami hitting shores here. It's been said many times, but SL is truly such a global community; please find time to stop by and donate anything you can.

Collecting Kawaii

A kawaii hunt at Albero kicks off today that works a li'l differently: you head to the starting point here, get a free HUD + look for 16 tree stumps. Each tree stump gives you a missing HUD piece + a visual clue for the next one's location. Once you've collected all 16, you hit a cha-ching! list of Albero's stores to collect beaucoup gifts.
Here's some of the spoils out now, including this free pretty summer dress by Mocha, free multi-colored beads by Deco, a free flickering pink retro TV, a prettily baked teacups hat by Ingenue + this utterly adorable free "floating" dandelion pose prop by No Strings Attached.
I'm also showing the brand-new freakin' gorges half-updo "Krystal" long hair by Truth, with this coy hair piece just barely tucked behind the ear. Totes my vote for the smexeh must-have hair of the week. *mwuahs Truth Hawks*
