And the wait is over: Shoetopia 2013 has officially opened its doors, and now everyone can go, pamper their pedis + support Soles4Souls. I'm showing you a few more of my personal faves debuting at the event: from a whimsical Murakami print pump by SYS to some scrumptiously raspberry-hued zip-up ankle boots by Baiastice (check the disco-ready gold pyramid-textured heels!) + these supercozy winter boots by Apple Fall, featuring a triplet of chunky, threaded wooden buttons. Not many brands can take credit for single-handedly changing the way we ladies wear shoes in SL via 1 sole product, but Slink creator Siddean Munro's mesh feet have done just that -- inspiring oodles of A+ designers to create add-ons for her beautiful mesh footsies. League creator Nena Janus is debuting some supercute things for Shoetopia 2013, including these brand-new fur-trimmed, drawstring leather snowboots (the fur trim + leather boot colors are all HUD-changeable, plus you get a zillion colors to choose from), in addition to some beautifully retro T-strap platforms with a thick, stacked wooden heel + your choice of buckle colors (isn't this muted turquoise color sooo exquisite)? As always, you'll find meticulous detailing, shadowing + scrumptious texturing on these League releases, making Nena's designs visibly stand out with that li'l somethin' extra (i.e., refined polish). Shoetopia 2013: Pink Platformed Angel.

You can always tell which booth draws oodles of interest when there's a crowd even at the blogger preview. The Boom booth at Shoetopia 2013 was jam-packed with folks, and for good reason: creator Aranel Ah's satin bowtied, utterly girlie "Olycena" platform heels -- made to work with the SLINK natural feet -- are 1 of the cutest designs I've spied yet at Shoetopia 2013. Sweet yet sassy with a demure rounded foot shape + wickedly stacked platform heel, they're resizeable (always a good thing) + the bow sections are color change (via HUD), meaning they pretty much go with everything (or nothing). Take a look.

Shoe Heaven.

Anybody who's got a fashionista bone in their body will be heading to 1 of this year's most anticipated shopping SL events, Shoetopia 2013, which kicks off in just a few days on November 15th. Until then, I had to show you a sneak peek of the utterly delectable build, which allows you to stroll thru the ethereal theme of "Heaven" to shop for your avi's feets, and which I also must add, absolutely nailed it as far as evoking an Pearly Gates ambiance -- complete with white marble textures, gently rolling clouds + oodles of ornate architectural details (i.e., soaring archways, bridged walkways & cascading balustrades). Take a look.

Huge kudos to event organizers Sophia Harlow + Anessa Stine for pulling out all the stops on such a worthy event; it's also worth noting that the event charity they've chosen to support is Soles4Souls, which feels deeply poignant given the utter devastation + horrific aftermath of the recent disasters in the Philippines.
