Strike A Pose (ProPoser Hunt + other free poses)

I was chillin' with my good friend and fellow model Arizona Wirefly at her lovely beach home when we decided to play around with some poses + a facial emoter HUD that I found in my inventory (mine was unnamed, but it's the same basic one offered at aDORKable for $0L).

Here's a perky li'l friends pose from Taisaya (they're offering 3 free poses at their main store). This one's "Cute Girls Posing 01." See how the facial emoter was good for some laffs.
This pose "Rejection" from 7th Sin Poses (ProPosers hunt stop #37) demonstrates how we've all had those moments when the only response you can have to someone else is listen you just gotta just talk to tha hand. We didn't even need the facial emoter for this one -- the hand sorta said it all.
Our friend + male model Gavin McGinnis came over and like most guys, he was in an athletic kind of mood. Luckily we had just picked up the breakdancing hunt gifts from Sunflower Poses (ProPosers hunt stop #25), so Gavin challenged Arizona and I to a li'l breakdancing battle. Maybe Gavin thought he had it easy 'cuz of Arizona's innocent looks. He wouldn't be the first. Heh.
Turns out that Arizona and Gavin were both totally ready for America's Best Dance Crew . . . I mean just check out that one-handed leg extension by Arizona! That kinda balance takes talent, I tell ya. Me, I nearly broke a hip trying that back arch thing. Thank God for SL yoga.

Gavin wanted to show off his macho superiority after that, so we met up with 2 of our more adventurous gal pals, the lovely DreamAngel Larnia and Ms. Freebie Fashionista herself Margaux Dufaux. Here's Gavin rockin' the "Juggling Ball" pose from aDORKable Poses (ProPosers hunt stop #22). Girls? Juggling balls? Same diff.
Some of the hunt poses came with props -- these are sooooo fun! I just adore all the crazy things that you can only do in SL. Check out me doing a near-faceplant atop this giant cupcake in "CuppyCake" from KO Poses (ProPosers hunt stop #14).

Btw these ripped camo pants + shredded tank top from Crazy are some of the best MM board freebie gifts around right now. . . great camping gifts too. I paired this with the aaaahdorable "Embroidery" necklace from Bliensen + MaiTai (a Skipping Stones hunt gift).

Later, Arizona and I felt like going dancing, so we met up with our good friend and model Ela Teardrop for some boogie action. Here's "Disco Night!" from DARE (ProPosers hunt stop #23). I just love seein' mah girls embracing their inner go-go dancers. Aren't they smokin' hawt here?
This raspberry pink zip-up dress is one of my new faves from Icewerk. As always, what makes it exceptional is the attention to detail: love the teeny tiny ribbed texturing and this rich, super-saturated fuscia hue. Yummy.

Here's us making use of the facial emoter again. See how Arizona comes off as all sweet and precious? Me -- yeah, not so much.
These poses are also superfun to combine together. Gavin, Dream and I had some laffs just messin' around. Here we linked the ProPosers hunt gifts from Snooky's ("You're The One That I Want"), Penny Deadful Arcade ("When The Whip Comes Down") and Mela's ("He's All Mine").

OK, so maybe me + my friends have a juvenile sense of humor. But doesn't life always seem to regress back to high school anyway?
