Private Resort.

Another postcard from SL today, this time at the lush Skye Glas build, a bit o' tropical paradise complete with modern, furnished cabanas that anyone can use (+ even rez-enabled for us photogs). -- These shots were taken from random spots on the 2 primary islands (there's a few outlier islands dotting the coastline as well), and the build is something of a curious one: the entire place is apparently a giant ad for the Skye Glas home decor brand, but there's zero signs anywhere re: how to purchase anything (which is kind of nice). Also, each time I've visited, it's been utterly devoid of anyone else; like your own private tropical getaway! But shhh don't blab to just everyone about this place, or it's bound to eventually get ruined (unfort we all know how that goes).

I loved the care that someone took in so thoughtfully terraforming & landscaping this dense greenery; this was the perf place to test out Windlight settings + just marvel at the visual wonder that is SL.

Sometimes carving out a li'l space that's all our own is what's necessary in this life.
This shot was taken at the riverside build here (this is the build for the Tarte store); as you can tell, I've been having way too much fun playing around with Windlight + especially water lighting (i.e., still finding my latest Firestorm viewer update to be endlessly fun).
